Summary

Players found the game visually interesting and appreciated the story and animation, particularly the spider's legs and faces. However, many struggled with the controls, especially picking up food items, which hindered gameplay experience. The lack of a Windows build and unclear instructions contributed to confusion and limited playability for some users. Overall, the game was seen as cute and conceptually cool but had usability issues.

I also could not figure out how to grab the food, but enjoyed this submission none the less! Very cool concept, I enjoyed how the legs moved 🕷️

I couldn't really pick up any food no matter how much I tried, but perhaps I didn't figure out the controls. As for the looks, it's pretty cute, and what controls you did show on the screen I got used to pretty quick. If I knew how to play it properly I'm sure this would've been a blast! It's a cute little game!

I think it was an interesting style, I just, for some reason, couldn't grab the food? I think I'm missing something here but it's a fun style and it's a cute looking game, I just think I've missed how to actually control is as I wasn't able to pick up the food

I really liked the story and the IK legs. The art looks a bit weird because of the many art styles and pixel sizes, which is generally considered inadvisable because of how jarring it looks. The spider's many faces were cute though. Decent submission.

It's a bit rough to not have a windows build, but I understand it's not always an option. I downloaded and compiled your project, but I felt a bit lost on what to do. It didn't seem like there were any customers to serve and I couldn't pick up any of the food items.

For feedback on what I could experience, I found the controls to be really difficult. being able to comfortably press asdfw and c all at once is a bit of a tall ask. Honestly, binding up/down to left and right click or to the mouse wheel would have been a lot more comfortable to use.

That's all the feedback I can really give- I'm not sure if there was some issue with me compiling the project, but it seems I wasn't able to experience the whole game, which is a shame. Hopefully it works for others!
