I had very low expectations going into this, but was suprised that it actually worked very well and was quite fun. It fits perfectly to the theme, I found no bugs or technical issues, and the sound and particle effects ties it all together nicely.
The difficulty is a bit on the easier side. You don't have to play long before you can beat the enemy every time. But thank god it's not the other way around. I have spent way too much time this week griding through stupidly hard games.
The only real issue with this game is the art. And I don't mean you need to make details or impressive animations. It's mostly the colors which doesn't look great. I advise you to look up a color palette online and stick to it, or perhaps ask a friend to make the art for you.
Edit: I think that if the platforms at the bottom shattered instead of slowly sinking, it would have improved the gameplay. The main reason why the game is so easy is that the enemy AI is very bad at jumping. It would also put more emphasis on punching your enemy into pits, making the attacks more relevant.

Thanks for your descriptive feedback! The art was definitely a weak point and something I aim to get help with or improve on for the next GM48. The colors of the characters are randomly selected, in retrospect I should of limited the amount of hues available to more grounded ones, and the level isn't anything special.
There were a few extra things planned but unfortunately I was unable to get a few systems working as intended in time so I ended up gutting a lot of the project. I like the idea of shattering platforms, the falling platforms were added in the last part of creating the game due to the limb mechanics being simplified, it seemed boring to just push each other, but then I remembered my ai couldn't jump so he had to learn quickly (and poorly)
I appreciate your feedback! It's definitely not my proudest work but I'm glad I could participate! and I'm glad there still some fun to be had here.

I had some fun with this one, it had the goofy feel of some of those flash games from early 2000s. I wish there was a bit more variety of enemies but I think it worked well for a jam game.

Thanks! As always there was a lot planned but it got gutted for the jam because time management is something I suck at. Im glad you had some fun with it!

I love that you can throw your own arm at your opponent, and continue fighting without a head. Very creative use of the theme. Fun to play over and over!

Thanks! Like most people I totally ran out of time and had to improvise on art and drop a lot, but with the little I salvaged I hoped it be a good (short) time killer!

It may only last 30 seconds but I kept playing and it kept me entertained.
