This is a Bullet Hell style game.
W A S D to move around
J for a medium attack after a cooldown
K for a heavy hitter after a cooldown
If you use the medium or heavy attacks, it will cost you hp so be sparing on them.

Neat idea. I included it in my compilation video series of all of the GM48 games, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/UEdGTFt7opw

The music isn't bad but... it doesn't go with the game at all..?
Other than that, the game is fine, but the medium and heavy attack are just too good and don't cost that much HP, so you can just use them as soon as you can and if you don't miss (which is relatively easy) you're OK.SubmittedOliver the Torchbearer

Not a bad game, the movement was way too inprecise for a bullet hell though, and it felt like the game lacked playtesting, since both the hp and attacks are kinda unbalanced.

Decent bullet hell shooter kind of thing. There's a nice variety of bullet patterns that are tricky to avoid but not impossible. The theme is a bit weak though. I feel like the theme should be a core part of the game, but here it's just used for some alternate attacks that aren't even necessary to win.
The visuals are frankly pretty unappealing, especially the blurry and distracting background. The audio is quite solid though. The sound effects work well and the music is great (if a little upbeat for the context).

Not much to say. Not so bad but lacks some kind of interest. Also the background seems too detailed/contrasty for that type of game where you need to focus on the bullet.

Unfortunately it's unfinished but it is a very well done boss fight, it fit well the theme and the music is good. I would have liked to play through more levels, it's a pity.

Davy Jones Locker would be a great ending to a game. I felt like if you built on it more it could be a great game. I liked the use of the theme where you had to decide between dealing damage but taking damage or sustaining low damage but not losing health. It is a great boss fight but nothing else. The pixel art is interesting and could use a bit more work. The music is superb and is my faviroute part of this game
