To achieve the goal you will need the help of this 2 type of drugs:
The pruple drug: It makes you faster but watch out, it also slows your hear beat, don't let it drop to much or you will die.
The green drug: It makes you slower but with this one you can speed up your hear beat. Watch out, don't let it rise to much or you will die.
Sometimes pedestrians will appear: You can make money by stealing from them. (left click)
With your money you can buy more drugs, or make upgrades: There are 6 types and they have 3 levels each (the levels must be unlocked in that order).
The prices of the upgrades have not been properly tested for lack of time. Also, the pedestrians will appear randomly. Sometimes you may be stuck, and you will have to start from the beginning. Sorry.

Challenging game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the GM48 games, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/po4FqYmf9EQ

You description makes the game seem really complicated, and once I was in, I didn't even understand I was already running. There should be some kind of animation or something else than the bar at the top to indicate the character is moving.
Anyways it feels more random than anything else, like you need to have enough money AND take the right upgrades, else you won't be able to reach the goal.SubmittedOliver the Torchbearer

I mean, the idea is nice, too bad the game is barely playable though, the difficulty wasn't balanced at all and the purple drug was basically op, managing your heartrate almost never came into play.
Extensively playtesting your game can make it much better, especially if the starting idea is pretty cool like this one.

This a neat idea and an interesting take on the theme. I feel like there could be a bit more interaction though. It seemed the only way to outrun the cop was to constantly take the purple drug (and even that didn't always work). I think it could be more fun if it was easier to outrun the cop but managing your heart rate was a bit trickier - that way you would need to make choices instead of mostly just pressing the same button. Other than that, the graphics and sound are minimal but functional.

Gave up. How does it work exactly? Level 3, The cop caught me everytime and the purple pill didn't feel effective at all (I upgraded it twice and upgraded the green pill once). Despite spamming 1, the cop reached me before the end. And I tried without using it as much. Same result. I tried the green pill too, same thing. I tried using the purple only when needed and the green when my heartbeat was too low and... same thing :/ I just can't win whatever I do... The cop goes waaay too fast.

It fit the theme well and you did the heart monitor very well. I've found it a little bit difficult and it took me a while to understand how it worked, in this regard I saw that to steal money from pedestrians, you have to click the left mouse button, you wrote right click in the description :)

Took me a few tries to see the cool progress bar at the top. It felt like the cop caught up to me no matter what I did. I beat the first level but I don't think i was due to any particular skill. I like the UI with the heart monitor, that was pretty cool.

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you liked the progress bar and also the heart monitor (which took me a while to make it work). About the cop catching up to you, I thinks it's because the game is a little more difficult than I was trying to make it.

Drugs help is an interesting type of game that use the theme helpful but harmful very well. I enjoyed running away from the cop over consuming purple drugs then having a few green ones as i neared the end. There is no audio in the game which makes the game less immersive. At first i though the player wasnt moving at all due to the lack of animation of the player. The pixel art is basic but good enough. Overall a very cool idea for a game but not the best game ive seen
