Summary

Star Seed received mixed feedback highlighting its fluid controls and enjoyable music. However, players noted issues with excessive text, unclear visuals, lack of HUD elements, and unbalanced sound effects where sound effects were too loud compared to the music. Suggestions included improving visual clarity, adding GUI elements, and refining gameplay mechanics to enhance engagement.

The game was simple, but I don't know your background and maybe it was your first jam game. Anyhow, it's nice you participated :) The sound effect was bit too loud compared to the music, you should check sound levels ^^

Interesting concept for a game! The gameplay was pretty good and the powerups were fun to use. I think it would have been more interesting if you could still play after becoming a star. Maybe you would spawn as a new ship and have to avoid the star, or you would be able to directly control the star.

    Cool little game!
I loved the music, but the sound effects were too loud compared to the music.
I didn't quite now what was going on during playing, so maybe make a gui next time.

Your game has too much text and bad font at the beginning of your game, then your in game visual don't really make sense. You also have no HUD elements so you can tell what really going on. The sound effects drown out the music and some of the sounds hurt my ears. Defiantly address your visual in you next games jam and don't have extended dialog before kicking into the action.

You had nice fluid controls and the music was nice well done.

Not an artist for sure....This is my first solo jam and my time management wasn't really the best. That being said, I'm really happy with how the game itself turned out...even if it is a bit buggy. Going to try to work this prototype into a full game so any feedback would be much appreciated =)
