gm(48) Mission Statement
Our mission is to support the GameMaker community through opportunity to learn, represent every type of GameMaker developer, empower unique creative games, and connect developers from separate communities together.
Support the GameMaker community through opportunity to learn
With 2543 participants to date, the gm(48) game jam has for over 8 years been instrumental in enabling developers to become better at game design, game development and GameMaker Studio 2.

5This jam is a blast. It's a lot of fun to see your finished game, and you learn a lot about the development process in the meantime!

5If you want a quick break from your main project, and a dopamine hit from receiving waves of feedback from a passionate community, then the GM48 jam is for you!

5It was a gloomy theme for me, and looking back it was fun to make, especially the voice stuff! :D

5Whether you're looking for a tight-knit community, putting your abilities to the test, or simply scratching that game development itch, the GM48 is the definitive GameMaker experience.

5I usually join Ludum Dare and other local jams, but I believe that GM48 are the ones I enjoy most.
It's a way to see what someone can do in just 48 hours with Game Maker, and the source code is usually available to mess with and to learn about.

5I've participated in 3 gm48 challenges so far, and everytime I continue to be impressed. My partner Ian is a wizard in GameMaker and I love seeing him make our creation's come to life! 10/10 will continue to participate every quarter.

5First time in Gm48. Really tough for me and my team because we had been too ambitious and the low experience didn't help! Anyway, very funny, I will participate again.

5I've done this a couple times now, and each time is more fun than the last. It's cool seeing how I've improved since I started, and overall participating has been a great deal of fun!

5Really fun Jam with a great community.

5In my project Countdown is a project in which I have not put all my work, but in The Legend of Princess Kidnap yes. I hope you like it
5Fantastic jam to enter! The community have a great buzz and are really friendly, plus the site is really slick too! I've entered a fair share of jams and this is easily one of the best.
5I hear many game maker devs talking about gm48 so I decided to try it out myself and it was really fun it pushed me to my limits and made me create new techniques

The Purrfect Opportunity
Look, if you had one shot or one opportunity to fuss everything you ever wanted in one moment would you capture it or just let it slip?

Ruthless Ruth
I remember when this city was just all fields. I'm going to take it back to that day! I'll build a world without buildings!
Connect GameMaker developers from separate communities together
The gm(48) game jam community is full of passionate, skillful and constructive developers. Connect with other like-minded GameMaker Studio 2 developers, see and learn how they make their games, and become better developers together.
