Our mission is to support the GameMaker community through opportunity to learn, represent every type of GameMaker developer, empower unique creative games, and connect developers from separate communities together.
Support the GameMaker community through opportunity to learn
With 2543 participants to date, the gm(48) game jam has for over 8 years been instrumental in enabling developers to become better at game design, game development and GameMaker Studio 2.

5I had a perfect version at 7:00. Deadline gets extended 15 mins so I try to add one little thing to it. Fatal error on my submitted project with no way to fix one simple mistake that completely ruins an entire 48-hour slugfest BY MYSELF.
Probably won't be attending another.

5This platform is great for seeing what is possible in 48 hours. Making Color Pickers help point out some issues I run into when making games.

5Hey look. I actually finished something for once.

This was a tough one. It was a challenging theme. I love seeing what other people come up with with theme-based Jams. So cool how other people think.

5GM48 rocks! I have learned so much during the 3 times my team has participated. The themes put us out of our comfort zone, and we learned so much in such a short time. Can't wait to go again!

5This was my first game jam i have ever participated in, and i must say it was really fun! It's a great opportunity to learn and improve your game developing skills.

5I've had a lot of fun making a game for this jam. Making a game in 48 hours isn't as hard as it sounds but it's definitely really tiring. Well, at least I'm kind of satisfied with my result!

5GM48 was difficult but rewarding. Two days don't seem as much time but many things can be made in this timespan.

5Participating in GM48 was great! I've never felt this motivated to make something ever before. I'm definitely going to try and participate in future GM48s.

5I learnt a lot about time management and design. It was a lot of fun and I will be back next round!
5First GM48 was very over ambitious and it turned out to be a hot mess. Met some very nice people and will hopefully work with them in the future

5It was fun to make a game about a kid shooting down an internet company under 48 hours

The Ascension
You play as an angel descending into a murky cave. At the same time, a voice warmly recommends you to ascend. Finding what you seek will not be as easy as it seems...

The Purrfect Opportunity
Look, if you had one shot or one opportunity to fuss everything you ever wanted in one moment would you capture it or just let it slip?

Papers & Dragons

bob's big coin collection game

Ruthless Ruth
I remember when this city was just all fields. I'm going to take it back to that day! I'll build a world without buildings!
