in Breakout Invaders we have combined 2 old games: Breakout and Space Invaders. Now the only way to go through the waves of enemies, is to use your balls. The game is very challenging, but it supposed to be like old games, right?
Controls: WASD or arrow keys to move, Space to shoot, Shift to shrink
Pro tip: Boss have a weak spot on his back
Warning! MacOS and Linux edition may not work, they are the same files as windows version, will be fixed soon

Fun idea, but you can't really control where the ball goes, and with moving enemies, that's way too random. Usually in breakout type games, the angle the ball bounces off is proportional to the distance from the center of your "ship". Here the ball just bounces like it's a wall. The only time I got it to change direction was after the ball was stuck in me because I de-shrinked on it.

The idea to combine the two games is great. The combined result is great, but I wish that there was more to it. Maybe a story, or something to engage me further.

Nice game. The two styles of game fit together surprisingly well, and this a good execution of the concept. The different enemy types and powerups help to add some nice variety and I like the size changing mechanic. The main issue is the lack of audio. The game just feels a bit empty without it.

The game lacks a lot of feedback that would have made it way cooler: sounds, visual effects when you hit or get hit (also, music)

The art and gameplay for this game are quite good, and with all the variation you put in it through different enemies and powerups it can stay fresh for a while, it's a shame there's no sound though, and sometimes you'll have unavoidable damage or situations where in order to catch the ball you have to catch a bullet aswell, with a little bit of clever design you could probably solve both of those problems tho.

Hey this is a great idea! I kinda wish the ball was a different color or something to better indicate where it was. It was too close in color to the bullets. But overall the game was pretty fun. Nice job!

I found the ball a touch too fast. The enemies were a neat idea but because I was paying attention to the ball rather than myself, I wouldn't know when I got hit. Sound or a more obvious visual indicator would have benefited. Unfortunately I did not get to the boss, but I found the enemy design challenging and engaging enough.
