You have been transformed to a weird alien. Luckily you have your ball with you. Try to escape the room with it!
Throw your precious ball towards poles to change their color from orange to green. When all poles are turned to green and you have your ball with you, the exit door will open. Remember to pick the ball after each throw!
You also see the lights over the door:
- First - you completed the puzzle
- Second - you have the ball
You have three throws for each room. On the lower part of the screen, you see how many tries you have left.
If you have no throws left and you have not pressed all the poles, you need to retry the level.
- Use left and right to move character horizontally.
- Up and down keys will use your ability to fly
- By pressing the left mouse button down, you will see aim-line from a player towards the mouse.
- While you are holding the button, you will notice that the line will change color. This will tell how much force you are using for the throw. There are three different levels of force.

Neat game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the games from the GM48, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/kfb6IM-P_cA

Oh, I'm sorry that I noticed your message so late! :( (Page didn't send me an email notification, I thought that it would.)
But thanks for playing the game and showing it in your video. I'm glad that you liked it :) Love to watch compilation videos you make, really find many new interesting games and ideas.
Best regards, serialkamikaze

Use click on release not on press for buttons, almost every time I clicked on "retry" or next level I lost my first shot.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback. Trying to remember this in future when using GM.

Decent game. It all controls pretty well and looks nice. The sound effects are good but the music is a bit annoying.
I feel it was a huge missed opportunity to not have more than three targets in any of the levels. That would require some strategic bouncing of the ball to hit all of them. As it is there's little challenge in hitting them.

Thanks for playing the game. Yup, more levels would have been nice. Next time trying to stop earlier the new features so that I have also time to produce content.

Cute little game. I liked the quirky music. This is definitely one where I had to read the instructions to figure out what I was supposed to do. Maybe add the instructions in-game as well. I wish there were more levels, since it seemed like the game was over before it started.

Thanks for playing!
Yeah, I should add instructions next time in-game also.
I had ideas for multiple levels but didn't have enough time to implement those. Too little sleep was taking its toll :D

Movements are a bit weird and as stated by proble, too bad there is no windows version; the browser version is a tad tedious to play with because you move the camera with the scroll wheel; the camera should pan automatically.
However, you just started with Game Maker, so it's not very surprising. Good start, nice that you try game jams! :)
EDIT: Ah yes, always keep those in mind! Either set the window size accordingly (to the player, but I don't know if it's possible with HTML) either allow the player to change them manually.
Some people have much smaller screens (it will make it too big for them) and some have much biggers one (it will make it too small for them)
Although I assume your screen is bigger than 1920x1080 because that's what I have? If you have 1080 too, then I guess it depends on the browser and that kind of stuff

Maybe next time I'm able to have a Windows version also.
Maybe the "room" was set too big and maybe not so many use browser as big I am used to. I did not have problems when playing with a browser. Trying to remember to take this into account in the future games.
There was little panic at some time that I can not finish the game at all when I ran into some trouble. But I'm happy that I could finish it and still somehow playable.

I think the game looked and controlled well.
I did have a hard time with the feedback from the game. The objctives werent very clear and I wasnt really sure what I should be doing or if I had won or not.
I might have just been dumb and missed something lol
I think this game shows a lot of potential and adding some feedback for the player could make it really shine.
Goodjob, keep it up with gm!

Thanks for playing the game!
Yeah, instructions would have been a great addition. And some helpful tips at the start so players know what to do.
What kind of feedback would you want to have? If you could give some example case? That would help. :)

Not a bad game, too bad there's no windows file, at least I could still play it on the browser.
The music is appropriate but kinda annoying, the art is alright, and the gameplay is... ok. I had some problems with the ball, since starting a level made me shoot my first ball without even moving or aiming, the movement itself is pretty weird, but I still managed to beat the game.
Overall I liked it, I'd say it's pretty much an average game though, and you could've polished it better.

Thanks for playing the game. I haven't installed GMS:2 to my Windows laptop so I could have tried to bake also Windows version.
I had a similar problem that ball was shoot when starting the level, but got it fixed when added delay. Obviously, it hasn't solved it for all players.
If I have had more time, I could have polished it more. Trying to do better next time.

I think the difficulty could be increased for this game, as it felt too easy. With the ability to move wherever you like in the levels, along with 3 balls for 3 targets, you can just go right to the target and hit each one directly. Maybe even if there was just a bonus for only using fewer throws to pass a level, or the ability even to lose your ball, so you had to restart.
Graphics, sound and mechanics all functioned fine. It's "programmer" art but most jam games are (mine included).

Thank you for playing my game and giving valuable feedback.
I wanted to have levels thought a little better but didn't have enough time. One idea would have been that player couldn't move, just being static in one place. And make levels based on that, but at the time of doing, I thought I do not have enough time to make so "clever" levels :D.
Maybe that bonus and/or another scoring system (e.g based on time) would have been nice to get player play over and over.
I try to keep these in mind on the next jam I'm participating.

Nice game, the alien dude is charismatic somehow hahaha. The music is very repetitive but I think it fits the alien ambient mood.
I just don't know how you justify only three throws if it's all the same ball .-.SubmittedCangaço StandOff

Thanks for playing and writing feedback!
First I did not have any restrictions how many times you can throw the ball, but somehow I felt that there should be some limit. So player e.g can try to beat the game with lesser throws.
