[WARNING: mild violence]
It's a rainy day, and your boss hates it when he gets wet. As his henchmen, you must make sure he stays dry at all times! Sacrifice yourself and your dryness to lay on puddles, block splashes from cars, and open the umbrella for your boss! (....otherwise you might die...literally . _ . boss gets a little crazy when he's angry...)
HOW TO PLAY
Click on puddles and then the henchman (or vice versa) to have them protect the boss. To open the umbrella, click on the boss and then a henchman to have them come forward. Be sure to block the puddles on the road too...you can't risk having your boss get wet now, can you?

This game has a divine ambience, as music, color scheme, sprite work, everything worked together to creat the game identity. Congratulations for that, it's very hard to achieve this effect.
So, as the gameplay, I wished it'd be as brilliant as the atmosphere is, but the controls are very confusing and sometime the boss just keeps angry anyway, even if a henchman is doing his job (what is something hard to get). Moreover, a strategy I tried to use was keep a henchman previously selected to perform an action when it was an obstacle, but I lose focus of them on some seconds, so I guessed I cannot did that.
This game really has a lot of potential, so don't give up yet. Tweak a little the gameplay and you'll have a masterpiece! :)

Absolutely loved the music, I have no idea why, but it's so damn catchy.
Art and gameplay weren't bad either, even if it took a little time to pick up the controls.
I don't dislike the idea, and I think you executed it quite well too, but it gets repetitive really quickly, and along with the kinda hard to use controls it makes the game frustrating after a while. Not nearly fast enough to make it a bad entry tho.
At least not with that awesome music playing in the background :P

I couldn't get the people to follow me, but I enjoyed the graphics and game! I included it in my GM48: Sacrifice compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/WwCrESwX77E

I love the idea. It's probably my favourite interpretation of the theme. The gameplay that comes from it is interesting, but a little finicky. It can be difficult to select the henchman you want when they're bunched up, and it's easy to forget to select someone (or to just miss when you try to select someone) before targeting something so nothing ends up happening.
The graphical style is very nice and suits the theme quite well. The one issue with the visuals is that it's very hard to see the text on the title screen. The music also suits the theme well, but it is a little short and repetitive.

Very funny and good looking game.
Some issues :
- menu is almost unreadable, text uses the same color as the background
- even on easy it seems really hard
- it's sometimes hard to be accurate with the clicks, especially when the henchman is in front of the boss, it automatically uses the umbrella.

Very..ughh.. interesting idea. Not sure how much it relates to sacrifice though. Clicking on the henchmen you wanted was very hard. The music loops often and not very smoothly. Sprites were nice though.

Love the art, but I have a couple of problems with your game:
-
The controls are very finicky. It's difficult to accurately pick a henchman which often lead me to missing a puddle or putting down my umbrella. It's frustrating and not in a challenging way. Like others have said, maybe some keyboard controls for choosing henchmen would help?
-
Sometimes the boss would walk into a puddle even though I had a henchman covering it. I don't have any other information, as far I can tell it just randomly happens.
Otherwise, presentation was good and I love the concept. Very funny and fulfils the theme requirement well. I could see this being a fun little game if it had better controls.

Really nice little gimmick there! Music is nice but is a rather short loop...
The mouse selection, alongside with being clumsy and inaccurate at times, is in my opinion not the best choice. Or maybe we could use a number (1, 2, 3) to select an henchman and then click on what we want the henchman to go?

The game has a great vibe and clever use of theme.
Constructive criticism -The mouse selection was a little to fine detail -One of the henchmen goes behind the puddle every now and then? -I'd make the text on your instruction page darker to help make it easier to read on the background.

First game of the jam to make me laugh! First off, excellent use of theme. I really liked the art. The sound fit perfect too! Sometimes it was hard to click on the henchmen and get them to the puddle. Also the in the menu, it was hard to see the buttons.
Really good job!!

It's really funny!
But, please, increase the size for the hit boxes and add some feedback about the selected object.

On graphical size as a still image it looks good, but the animations could have been better. The menu seemed little bit confusing as buttons did not stand out. I clicked too easily on henchmen who I already assigned to do something else, and then boss got more angry as the henchman did not do his job. But good idea nevertheless :)
