I've never created a game before, but trying to create a game in 48 hrs was pretty challenging and exciting.

The story of this game and the art are neat. I liked how you tell the story as the game progresses, although I think it would be better if it doesn't interrupt everything and were just a message on the top of the screen.

Moreover, this game would be much more exciting and smooth if everything moved twice as faster (or even thrice). In bullet hell games like this, it's also important to give the main character a hitbox as small as possible and the possibility of walk slower, if the players wants to. The balancing also seems a bit off, as the L attack is too weak, the K attack is very nice, but rare, and the J attack puts you on a extremely disavantage (what wouldn't bother me if it wasn't mandatory to kill all the enemies).

But your heart is in the right place, the three atacks are well designed and I really like the storytelling atmosphere of this game. Nicely done! ;)

Neat game! I included it in my GM48: Sacrifice compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/qZITVIm2pYI

Neat game. The idea of the game as a story being told is interesting.

I like the variety of different attacks you can use, though the J attack would be more useful. The gameplay is overall fairly solid, it just feels a bit slow (mainly the movement speed).

The visuals are pretty nice. The sound effects are alright, but it feels like some things are missing sounds (the K thing's shots, for instance).

Good job finishing your game, I hope you participate more times!
I liked the variated attacks and the only major criticism I have is with the player's speed, but I think the J attack kinda makes up for that.
I'm not sure I finished the game because I'm pretty sure I was about to get hit when a screen appears saying I helped practically everyone, hehe.

Nice game for a first entry, the ideas were all good, but with not much correlation to the theme.

Balancing was probably your weakest point, with the player speed being way too slow, and the k attack being too strong, on the opposite of the j attack, that I almost never used.

The art and sound weren't bad, but maybe next time try adding some simple music.

Fun game, with some pretty cool abilities! This might be a personal preference, but I think the gameplay would feel a lot smoother and more fluid if everything was a little bit faster maybe?

That was interesting enough to play a few times and improve! It was really challenging with bullets flying everywhere and only being able to move really slow, the J attack felt pretty useless since not being able to move was too much of a downside with the number of enemies and bullets flying everywhere. A way to know how far along the game I am or some sort of score system would be pretty cool! It was hard to know how well I was doing

That's really good for a first. It's simple but it does the job well. Like for example the animation before the explosion is a really nice touch. Both attack are nice, and the turret might be a little too powerful, but I'd say it's balanced with the number of enemies.

But yeah, the gameplay is too slow, and what's really missing is some kind of score or progress indicator. The theme is kinda weak here too, you mention "other" but it would at least need something like a timer saying "x seconds before the humans escape"

The core idea was simple and solid, but the gameplay is really slow. Otherwise, the only thing really missing from the game is enemy complexity and BGM.
