You go through the world by the recoil of your gun. This required a sacrifce, all to save your piggie friends.
The game uses the keyboard and the mouse.

This game is really nice, the art is not so nice, but the music and sound effects were pretty good. It was very disturbing losing your legs to the sacrifice, but I thought the mechanics envolving the gun are pretty cool. I also loved the trivia about pigs.
So, this is a nice game, good job!

That was great! A little morbid just losing your legs like that haha! But seriously, that was a blast. Moving around felt nice. Graphics were simple but effective. I would've loved to see more enemies. I think that would've created a fun dynamic of trying to kill dudes while avoiding spikes. Also i loved the addition of the pig facts!
One thing i noticed is you can get stuck on the corners of legs. That was the main thing that felt off to me.
Other then that, excellent job!

Nice fun game, and I loved the pig facts! The controls were smooth and responsive, my only concern was with the no-legs mode, after the 4th shot it seemed as if the was a longer pause between shots than usual? If this was intentional, as a sort of reload, then I'd say make that clear to the player by some sort of reload sound/animation/icon.

Neat game! I included it in my GM48: Sacrifice compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/MxThB7fKjVE

This game is pretty interesting. It's neat that you can go through it in two different ways (even if I didn't realise you could keep your legs until I read the comments). I like the addition of the pig facts you can find.
Unfortunately, The level design feels a bit random. The visuals look alright, but the style seems a bit inconsistent. The sound effects aren't the best ever, but I think they have some charm to them. I do quite like the checkpoint sound.

The connection to the theme is implemented pretty well, and I like how you can finish the game both with and without your legs, the level design could've been done better though, since you don't really have to go far away from the main path to get the piggies they're not really collectibles or anything, just part of the main path.
The controls aren't so good but they're not bad either, making two different ways of moving must've been hard, but you managed to make it at least playable even if a little awkward.
Story art and sound are pretty average, and there's a bug that plays the background music on top of itself when you restart the game. Overall not a bad entry, but you could've polished it more.

It's a nice idea to let the player choose if he wants the gun or not. I first refused every time because I thought it would sacrifice a pig, so I was quite surprised when I lost my legs on my second run :D
My biggest complaint would be on the audio side. The loop is very short, and some sound effects seemed glitchy. Also when you restart the game the music plays over itself.
