You are a character wearing a hazmat suit, and you have to rid the universe of a purple corruption spreading across it. In order to do so, travel across a series of small worlds and rid each one, one at a time.
Arrow Keys or WASD for movement.
Move your mouse to aim, and left click to shoot
F4 for fullscreen
Escape for exiting the game.
Here's a friendly reminder : The Blaster Beam's length goes to your cursor, so for a longer length move your cursor farther away!
Your health depletes when touching just about anything that looks like it can hurt you.
The corrupt meter shows what percentage of the level is corrupted.
Anyways, please enjoy this weird little game!

Satisfying, challenging and fun.
Can't think of any feedback that hasn't already been mentioned, but it was overall really good!
Well done :D

Fun game, but desperatly needs screen border, because I was constantly clicking outside the window.
Some of the levels & sounds can become quite infuriating too.
Oh and the character needs a smaller hitbox. You're expecting it to be 1 tile wide, but it's a little more, and falling spikes often hit me even though I thought I was out of the way.

Really cool idea you came up with. Pretty interesting and satisfying mechanic and the art was nice :)
A few things I noticed:
- Sound effects were rather loud on my machine, and it seemed like sometimes the sounds were playing multiple times at once.
- Occasionally I would find myself in a frustrating position where I couldn't quite reach the purple goo, and couldn't figure out how to get closer without dying. This may have been an intended puzzle aspect to your game, but I seemed to struggle with it.
Overall, good game! Well done.

Very unique game idea, definitely stands out in its own genre compared to the other entries, and I like the little ambient sounds that the ooze and falling blocks make. The level select screen was also a pretty neat addition for a jam game. I also like how over time you learn the best way to tackle a level, like how corruption mostly spreads up, meaning that cleaning the lower areas makes them less likely to get recorrupted.
I feel there are some issues with the controls, jumping from one platform to another didn't feel great, but that might be more because of the low ceilings relative to your jump height. Aiming the cleansing laser didn't feel super intuitive as well, sometimes sweeping over corrupt areas would leave spots uncleaned, and the line extending and retracting was a bit hard to predict. Also, sometimes when corruption spread to the very far corners of the screen it was a bit hard to aim at and reach for those spots.

It was nice game, I liked idea. Some music could have been there and dropping spikes (repeating) sound could have been lower. I think every spike does the sound, which amplifies overall sound effect. Maybe could have been just one. When jumping and to control jump height, you could do something like (jump_key released -> if (vspeed < 0) vspeed = vspeed/2;). So vertical speed if halfed when jump key is released, if going up.
Spikes on ground could have been more clearly visible, feew times I accidently jumped on one as I tried to avoid falling spikes. I didn't notice fullscreen option when playing, and I kept acciently clicking outside the window and lost sight as I had other things open in background. Should have read description ^^"Overall game was nice :)

I like the idea and it can be pretty satisfying clearing away all the purple goo, but I ultimately found the game a bit frustrating. The lack of a variable jump height combined with the fairly large hitbox makes avoiding stuff a chore. On the level I reached the spikes were the exact same colours as the walls so they were very hard to see. It's also annoying having the corruption constantly undo your progress, especially when waiting for the weapon to recharge.
I'm sorry for being so negative in this feedback. This is definitely a well made game with a really cool concept, I just couldn't manage to get into it.

I love this idea. The cleansing mechanic was extremely satisfying and the fact that it reproduced itself makes for some interesting stratedgy. It's genius. I don't know why I have never seen this concept before.
I would like some more impact when I got hit. I see that you have added a sound and a red flash on the character. That's already two things. But neither of those has an impact. The character is too small for you to notice the flash and the sound is too silent. Or rather, the sound that plays when spikes falls is too loud.
I don't think this fits that well with the theme. I mean, yeah, the levels are kind of small. But not extrordinary small. It's kind of a bad theme though. So I won't blame you.

That was a really fun little game, really got me invested into completing every level. Well done. The sounds did get a little piercing after a while though.

Simple, but good. It's surprisingly satisfying to just clean away stuff. I would definitely recommend making a fullscreen option, because sometimes I would just click away from the screen and that makes it very hard to clean. The sounds were also too loud in my opinion, they kinda destroyed my ears.

Thanks for the feedback! I spent quite a while making it feel nice to clean stuff. Sorry for not having this before, but F4 puts you in full screen, I just added that to the description. Thank you!
