Defend Thy Maiden

I like the gimmick of the dog in armour and the thug ducks!

But I was surprised at what the dog was shooting. Expected it to make a bit more sense :o

• The camera adapts too quickly to the cursor, making it pan too fast. it makes some aiming more difficult and it is not very convenient overall
• Speaking of convenience, I don't understand why you activate her power by using the dog, it would have been way more convenient to do it with herself, especially since it doesn't add challenge to do it with the dog, it just makes it annoying.

Aside that, the game is pretty cute, love that dog :)

Cute game!! A little straightforward themewise, but a good idea nonetheless. Cute the art, nice level design too. The camera made me pretty sick unfortunately so I couldn't finish it >.<

When I saw the thumbnail during the submission phase, I already knew I had to play this. The dog is just so friggin' cute! So are the ducks.

Anyway, about the gameplay, I do wish the camera/view was a bit more steady It's a bit "slippery" and a bit slow when switching between the characters.

I really enjoyed playing the dog but it felt a little bit too convenient to keep playing as him, most especially with his attack compared with the princess.

Overall, I had fun playing it. The music is bouncy and cute while the graphics match it well. This might be my favorite so far. :)

That's a good game for a game jam and I have exactly the same advice than Nightshayd. I will add to maybe put a distance limit to the attack of the puppy. I manage to snipe the enemy and don't put the characters in danger until I have to teleport the princess to fight ;). Overall, putting aside the camera, I enjoy the game.

Characters are very cute, nice music and sound effects. Overall a pretty fun little game. The only thing that really bothered me was the camera following the cursor, on fullscreen the camera was all over the place and too jerky for me.
