Platform your way through short levels where YOU are the obstacle. Stuck in a time loop, every time you finish a level you have to platform past your previous self, who repeats all of the things you did on a loop.

Yo this is sweet. It felt really cool playing. I rarely have the patience for this game, but the plot - as small as it is - gets you interested, keeps telling you how's your progress, while guiding you without being too invasive. It's also fun to figure out how to optimize your loops to avoid hurting you. It's good that you can have multiple loops as it gives an extra challenge and prevents you from just "waiting" on a spot. The level design works super well and each level feels different enough to keep you interested.
The end music was pretty nice! Too bad it missed a jumping side effect, even small. Doesn't bother that much.
I'd say the only issue is the visuals, as the sprites are a bit simple and not the most appealing, although it doesn't look that bad.
In any case, definitely a favourite of mine. Pretty nice game!

Really cool concept, though I'd say it's a bit cliché. The colors didn't really work well together, but the music and gameplay were great. Good job!

I'm not a really huge fan of the art in this game, but everything else is ASTONISHINGLY well put together. The music is cool and really energetic, the pacing of the game, the writing, the mechanics!
This is genuinely my favorite submission of all.
It's all super cool and works really well together. My only advice is to work with a color palette to avoid messy and un-harmonic color combinations, add more sound effects, make the "timeline paradox!" screen a bit shorter, so it doesn't kill the pacing as much. Lovely game!

This game was really amazing! From the little animations to the bit of story to the upbeat music, I really love it. It was cohesive and difficult enough to be puzzling but still fun. The concept was simple and clever, and it was executed very well. The ending was also a great sendoff.

This was a brilliant use of the theme, easily one of the best uses in my eyes this Jam. It's very clever I'm guessing you're saving the position of the character into a json file then replaying them back on restart? Or is it into a buffer?
I don't know if I got that far? I got to the level where you need 3 loops and there is LOADS of drop down platforms almost like in columns, I tried multiple strategies but just wasn't successful, but I never felt like it was unfair, it was more my skill level wasn't there.
I thought the controls felt night, I know it's only 48 hours, but it would have been nice to have a bit of tolerance leaving a platform and still allow a jump, maybe a fraction of a second after leaving it, but really with all the content in this game it's hard to find those extra hours!
The sound was good, though I didn't like the dropping platform sounds too much, but the music was really good.
I thought the art was okay, but I LOVED the skeletons in the tileset, the main character I felt deserved more attention art wise.
I felt the text was a bit too wordy at the start, I felt I wanted to get into the action much sooner.
Congrats , I felt this theme was really difficult to find ideas to pull off, and I felt this is where you most succeeded.

You're spot on, it's a JSON file that replays them back on each loop. You actually got to the very last level if it's the one I'm thinking of haha, so good on you for getting that far! I did put some tolerance in there but I might not have put enough (5 frames), so good to know for the future. I'll make sure to pass the sound/art stuff onto the guys who did those :)
Thank you for all the feedback and kind words

Wow !! It's awesome, the level design is really clever and the concept is well used !! Congrats !!
I've noticed a bug, sometimes with the falling platforms you are teleported on the top of the screen.

I loved playing this game! The level design was incredible and it was very satisfying to plan out the different runs to ensure the next guy could get to the portal.

Why can't i make the game fullscreen :'(, apart from that tiny hiccup. really nice concept with having to plan out what you're doing instead of "I'm just going to finish the level" because then you'll definatly end up killing yourself xD, nice job with the effects and writing and everything, great entry ^-^
