Great entry! I liked it. However, I found that the controls were a bit uncomfortable, especially with the WASD+Z+Spacebar. I also pressed the Up arrow thinking it was the jump button and died a bunch because of that.

This one is one of my favorite submissions. It's immersive, looks good, is fun to play, has some backstory AND fits the theme!

I only wish there would be no need to use the mouse to pickup boxes, just using the same interact button as required for doors would have felt better, if you ask me. Some easier levels to get comfortable with the controls and the game itself would have been also nice!

Thanks WangleLine! Yeah, that's good feedback.

At first I had "interact" and "pickup" the same key input, but it turned out that it got tricky to differentiate between pickup up and interacting with objects if you put them right next to each other. The game definitely plays best with a controller for the reason you're describing.
As for level order, etc, I noticed the same balance issue after the deadline, and updated the game to have better flow, as can be seen linked to on the main page.

      Thanks again!

    Really cool puzzle idea!

I found the level where you repeated throw the teleporter a bit tedious (I quit after it fell back to the bottom...) Maybe one way to alleviate this is to have objects stay when you run out of time as well as with the rewinder?

I agree, Panda-K. I was worried that level was borderline too hard and too long. I decided to change the level to make the hardest throws a little easier. (in the post-jam version)

Having objects stay when running out of time (like an auto-rewind instead of a failstate) could work. Then there'd need to add an option to restart the level, since it's possible on some levels to get stuck if you throw things out of reach.

      Thanks for the feedback!

Interesting concept, I like the art and the feeling of impending doom, It took me a while to learn the controls i had to keep looking back at the description page on GM48, kinda wish i could pause the game to see them. Like the other guys i found level 3 too hard to get past as the throwing mechanics have to be pixel perfect. I would be nice if i could pick up the block if i was standing on it, i found it hard to get on the platform and pick it up.

Really enjoyed it however well done!

Thanks for your feedback! I took a lot of what you said into consideration and released a new version of the game on itch.io

Same error here as Kylazaur, but also I found a way to dig yourself to the ground. I think if you press down several times while you are next to box, you will end up inside the floor.

It was good entry and the retries were well done, you could try again continuesly without waiting too long, which is nice. Pixel graphics was ok and the walls and ground were not just plain textures, but had some variety, which is good. Sounds were good.

    Overall, good entry.

Oop, I got an error trying to bring the pick up block through the green portal xD, nice concept, really had fun with this game, great entry ^-^

I like the style of this game -- the graphics and sound effects are good and it's immersive -- but the 10 second time limit is punishing. I'm not sure I'm capable of getting past the third level.

The grabbing controls are interesting, but they feel a bit out of place with the rest (I suddenly had to grab for my mouse in a game that had thus far been keyboard-only), and my throws are frustratingly imprecise in a game that requires minute precision. I also had to read the controls again to even realise grabbing was possible -- I tried pushing the box for a couple of loops, obviously with no success.

That you say to not the press the red button at the start of your description confused me a bit. I initially thought that by pressing the red button I'd activated speedrun mode, but then I figured out that pressing that button was the only way to start the game.

I think this is a good game overall, but it could use an easy mode for scrubs like me. :)

Thanks for the feedback! I realized after it was too late that level three is a bit too hard for the third level. I should have swapped it with a later level.

Did you figure out how to use the time rewinder? The level is PRETTY HARD without it.
