    Nice shooter game. I liked that the enemies eventually started throwing projectiles, making it a little more difficult. Maybe some powerups would help to keep things interesting. I pretty much stuck to circling around the outside and shooting inward, which resulted in a huge blob of enemies in the middle!

    I get that top down shooters are easy to make and good for short game jams but would be nice to see some more innovation with game mechanics although the time field was nice. The art is great except the clouds look like they're a different resolution and the countdown numbers look jagged because of the white line in the middle (I'm guessing you were trying to make it stand out a little more but would look nicer if you just draw_text_colour() and shift it up and to the left a bit). It was a bit enjoyable and I got to 33100, Good job ;D

      That's one of the higher scores I've seen reported, good work on that! You're right that i didn't innovate much but personally I'm not too fussed with innovation. I'd rather make a game that's fun but unoriginal than make a game that's not fun to play but in a unique and innovative masterpiece. Also I totally agree with the weird art stuff being all in different art styles, occasionally art styles that look like garbage. I just take the easiest options when doing art during jams, and squiggling paint on a photoshop is good enough for my sky.

    Brings me back to Castle 1! Except there are way more enemies this time xD It's also pretty hard when they start throwing stuff at you!

    I reckon there is a rock tune but we can barely hear it while we can hear the melody way louder. Too bad, I like guitar stuff :o

    Nice job on your game!!!! Music was nice and the game was simple yet kept me wanting to get a higher score. I thought I had it all figured out until the little dudes started shooting back. lol Nice job on the theme as well.

    Liked it and liked the twist on the whole "coundown" concept.

    One thing: you can stay alive for a long, long time if you just stay in the corner constantly shooting! Give me a reason not to do that! A reason not to shoot!

      Thanks for the feedback! I figured you couldn't just stay in a corner because the enemies could walk through the walls. I'll have to look into that.

    Loved the game, short sweet and simple with sound and music that perfectly complimented the game, gameplay is entertaining despite simplicity and is well stable while also perfectly sticking to the idea of the theme. Good work!

    With some tweaks it could had been good tweaks like slower moving projectiles faster enemy's telegraphing the projectiles

    because currently you can stay alive for a while without moving and then you just have to move in circles arround the enemy's

      The only reason the projectiles are this fast is because any faster and they would be moving slower than the zombies, and it didn't feel right that way. I do admit that there's more i wanted to do. I'm surprised that you could stay alive without moving though, neat find!
