My entry uses the theme as you have to eat the npcs to recover hp, they die permantly. They have special information on curing the curse

You play as Jo, who recently got turn into a hideous half vampire half sausage half human. Jo is on a quest to find the dingy’s cure the sausagic curse.

The game is top down first zelda type screen to screen, with an attack, and a couple extra actions depending on how you play. The game is suppose to be played as a puzzle and you’re unlikely to discover all the mystery on the first try. There quite a few npcs to meet and try to figure out how they fit into curing the sausagic curse.

    This is a really cool concept and the atmosphere was great but... I'm a little low on time to play the last games, and I got the bad ending two times, it seems you can't eat ANYONE???
    The second time I ate a dude after he did something to one of my gem (still had no idea why him or what to do with it) thinking "ok I don't need him anymore", then I got the bad ending again...

    This was actually a really good game, I don't know what it is about it but I actually ended up enjoying it way more than I thought I would, both the artstyle and music grew on me, and even though at first I thought the gameplay was going to be repetitive I quickly changed my mind.

    Neat game. I like how you managed to create an overworld with NPCs and several dungeons, even if it all was quite small. The idea of being able to eat the NPCs to regain health is cool, especially how there seems to be a better end if you don't eat anyone. I tried to go for it but I didn't make very far without a way to regain health. The highly pixellated style is a bit basic but it works pretty well. Music isn't amazing but it fits the mood pretty well and it's cool how different areas have different tracks.

    Had a great time playing this throwback to Atari/NES era games. Sucks a bit, that the only enemies I encountered on my only one playthrough were green slimes (?). They had an interesting movement pattern, and progressed the gameplay a great deal. "That dungeon really f'd me up. Jeez, guess I'm gonna needa eat a scientist.". The moral implication was a lot of fun, and wouldn't have worked if you they all looked the same, or couldn't talk. I enjoyed it.

    Not a bad game on its own! Could use more polish. The fights against slimes felt awkward (and frustrating) . Needs an invincibility frame. But the music. I need to address the music. It sounds sometimes very.. unexpected and rather... unpleasing :/ It's cool that you got so much music but maybe few music would have been better to better check their quality. The main one isn't bad but one dungeon music (the one where it's very dark) is... rather difficult for the ear. We can feel the effort though.

    That said, it's nice that you got that content in!

    I've got the bad end 2 :), I have enjoyed this game, although the green slimes were a pain, maybe you had to add the possibility to attack in diagonal or don't let enemies move in diagonal.

    I was taken in by the mystery aspect of your game, but the combat is a little frustrating. It is not uncommon to be hit by an enemy the moment a new screen loads. Maybe you could include some invincibility frames for the character when a new area starts or make them invincible until they move for the first time on a screen.
