Harvest Shroom is a farming simulator tower defence game, an FSTD if you will. It draws inspiration from varies sources; Hotline Miami, Plants vs. Zombies, and Harvest Moon! The game is playable, but the gameplay is limited. :)

Neat game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the GM48 games, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/po4FqYmf9EQ

Sooo, this feel like a Ludum Dare game you didn't try to fit with the DM48 theme..?
The fact that farming and defense aren't linked at all really defeats the purpose of the game.
And I ended up loosing while attacking the mushroom as I was trying to see if the shrooms I farmed had any use.
The starting menu was really nice though.SubmittedOliver the Torchbearer

It is a nice idea and it could have been very fun but as you said in the description the gameplay is limited unfortunately.

It has neat potential, but is too limited. Too bad cause I liked the idea. Also It seems like the farming is just someething you do aside the monster defense. I kinda wished your crops would be tower defenses or something. It would have been to me the best way to seal the farming with the defense tower. Unless I couldn't find how to do it? The mushrooms didn't seem to hold any kind of monster fighting value.
Also, not sure what it exactly has to do with the theme?

The graphics are really nice and the music fits the game well. I also really liked the opening cutscene. The actual gameplay that's here is alright, but it doesn't seem complete. You can grow mushrooms and fight enemies, but there isn't to much point to it. I though you would be able to replant mushrooms as some sort of defense weapon against the baddies, but if there was a way to do that I couldn't find. The enemies themselves are way too easy anyway. Maybe they get harder later on but I got up to day 8 without much change.
Anyway, seems like there's potential for a neat game here but it's still missing some things.

I loved this game to bits. It has an interesting flair and is really fun. The music complimented well the cutscenes and the gameplay is really nice. Awesome job!

Really good concept, I actually fell in love with your starting menu and I'll steal it for my future games probably, but other than that the game is clearly unfinished and needed more playtesting before the deadline, that's because things aren't really explained properly, and the difficulty is not balanced at all.

Okay, even if you haven't created a description yet or a tutorial (exept showing which buttons to use), I think I understand what the tools do and how to get money. It became intense after a while due to micro management but it felt somewhat meaningless because there was no real goal and the farming and fighting don't affect eachother. Still, it was quite fun to play and the graphics were nice to look at.
I didn't find any glitches until around round 17 or so, when the game randomly crashed.
