Click buttons to explore the tower and kill goblins!

Sorry the XP cap never increases. I meant to add that to intelligence, but forgot to add it in the final hours of the jam.

Nice text based game, it always feels like we need more of those :P

the hud and gameplay were really intuitive, even though the game definitely needed sounds and a little more tuning for most things.

Okay so I definitely won the game by dying to game maker not being able to understand numbers that are too big :D
Pretty fun short clicker game, the twist to end up using HP for everything was very cool. I just didn't really understand how and when new upgrades for the cursed sword were available.

A well done game, it's a pity for the lack of sounds and maybe the gameplay needs a little bit of calibration, but I've really enjoyed it.

Neat text based dungeon crawler thing, with a neat twist that fits the theme well: The cursed blade. Gradually making all your resources come your HP is a cool idea, but not very balanced. Once you get the ability to use HP instead of XP you can just keep upgrading vitality to have a huge pool of upgrade points. It just turns into a game of waiting for your HP to refill so you can get more stuff. I'm not sure if there is an ending, but after a while I just got bored and ended up going as far up the tower as I could before dying.

Other than that, the visuals aren't amazing but they work well enough and are nice and clear. I think the game would have benefited from simple sound effects though.

The "Ending" is getting over 2 billion HP so the round() function rounds your health down to zero and kills you because round() doesn't work with numbers that big. #spoilers

Great colors and the concept is excellent. The interface is simple, and easy to follow. Coming from an artistic stand point, obviously its lacking there, however I did like your use of color. Would like to have see a screen shake when taking damage, and some audio would have helped.

I had fun grinding and leveling up for a few minutes, but I couldn't figure out how to increase my experience cap above 50. Maybe some tooltips for the stats (and other options) would help?

Also, for some reason, after the first time I rested (and raised my vitality) my hp kept refilling continuously. Is this supposed to happen?

Yeah, sorry about the xp cap. I meant to increase it with intelligence, but forgot to add it in the rush of things the game needed in the final hours. I think I'll update the comments to mention it.

It's intentional for vitality to increase HP over time, but I think it starts out too fast (and resting starts out too weak).

Oh, and I planned on that bottom bar to show tool tips but never got around to it. So many plans, so little time.

Not a bad idea, but the UI isn't very warm. The lack of sound doesn't help much to feel immersed considering it's just text.

Design wise, I'm not sure about something... it seems that the enemy attack bar refills whenever you attack. Which means if you hit them enough they might quickly get to the point to damage you when you're supposed to have the upper hand. This is not supposed to happen in my opinion! I get maybe that the enemy gets adrenaline from our hits but doing what we're expected to do shouldn't punish us :p Not to mention that I didn't realize I was getting hit from that.

It's an interesting game, certainly scratches that dungeon-crawler itch you get. It's not much to look at, there isn't really any sound, but if you're looking for a fun romp through a gobbo-filled tower, why not pick up a sword that eats your mana and have some fun?
