This game was made in 15 hours, with objective of being playable only with audio (you can play it with your eyes closed). Actually, sound is fundamental in this game, so, play it with headphones for a better experience.
You are a survivor of an airplane explosion, fortunately you have an air cushion to bounce your fall, but make no mistake: you have one shot to get it on the ground without hitting the trees. Beware of flying debris, and recover coins while you fall.

It is super great that you made the game playable by just audio! Its a really simple concept, but very polished and well done. I included it in my compilation video series of all of the games from the GM48, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/Wy06AcGSYb8

What a great concept ! But watch out for sound levels, the voice at the start was ok, but then the coins were SUPER LOUD. Also, like others, I got a bit confused at the landing, I think the sound is too short for me :(

Very clever idea, even if the theme isn't that prominent. It works very well too. I played the game with my eyes closed the whole time and managed to do pretty well. I obviously didn't see much of the visuals but from the parts I did see it looked nice.

What an awesome idea you had!
The game is simple and well implemented. I liked the art style and the sounds :)
I wished the sounds were relative to screen position instead of player's position, because if you play with your eyes closed you can't really tell if you're in the middle or in the far right/ left (and maybe you hear a sound "in the middle" and decide to go right, but you're already as right as you could be)
Sometimes I couldn't distinguish the sound location very well, but I wasn't wearing phones and that would probably help a lot, as you stated yourself.
The most confusing part for me was landing. I never really heard the tress and still couldn't land properly, always failed :/
The coins felt a little useless, it doesn't have a score or upgrades on which you could use them (I didn't get to land safely, so I don't know if it shows how much coins you got when you land)
I think overall it's a good jam game :) congratulations!SubmittedCangaço StandOff

Yes it shows the coins if you land successfully XD It was hard to balance visuals and audio. Without the headphones you probably won't feel the position correctly. If I made the sounds related to the screen position, you would never know where the player is. I'd need another sound to point that out. I agree I didn't solved very well the tree sound. It is a short time between you detect it and your reaction. With headphones it would be easier, but I can make a better sound, just the time didn't allowed me to. Thank you very much for your detailed review! :D

Loved the use of stereo sound, even if really simple, not sure how necessary the voiceover was for all the text though. Art was nice, and the sound effects weren't bad, albeit a little repetitive.
The game itself was really simple, but fun, in the end I got all the coins and won, overall I would say this was a really pleasant experience, and just lacks some content and variation.

The idea of the game is that you could play it entirely without seeing, hence the voiceover, that is a shameless text-to-speech because I had no time to record a proper voice over XD Other than that, I agree it is repetitive. Maybe it could be shorter, idk.
Thanks for the suggestions and the review, Problematicar!

Nice idea to use sounds! Although I'll admit I wasn't so fond of it. The quality was good, but I didn't like to hear the same sound over and over, it got a very repetitive tone. Is there pitch variation? If it did, it didn't feel like it (if it didn't, would have been nice to have each sound have a slightly different pitch)
Also not a fan of the beeping sound and the debris in the end (especially the beep) not sure what you could use instead for a continuous sound since it's obviously needed to play it
Also, dodging debris, collecting coin, since it's always the same speed, it got repetitive at some point. I would have liked to see the ending, but the first bit is a bit too long for the same dodging; missed my landings because i was trying to look out for the tree sounds and then, too late. =(
Despite what I said though ^ your intention is great and it's innovative! I admit most comes to my personal preferences; really appreciated your efforts, especially with the time frame you had

Fair. It could be improved a lot, I agree. Your ideas are good (changing pitch). It was hard to balance the speed of the stage with the visual and audio feedback. In the end, it works better only listening than when seeing. Thank you for the detailed review and the suggestions!

This is a fun and simple game but has an amazing innovative feature with the sound. The audible feedback was amazing and I enjoyed the game almost more when playing with my eyes closed! Real nice work!

Good instructions how to play and text-to-speech was a great addition. Adds a lot of feeling when there is voice reading the text.
Very innovative way of using the voice like this from the closing items.
Really loved the simplicity and how good it is working. Nice!

I like your use of stereo panning. I'm not sure why there are trees falling through the air, though... airplane debris would have made more sense.

It wasn't supposed to look like trees falling, but debris, hahaha. I tried to use a different color (not white, yellow, orange, red or blue) for contrasting with the background and the other objects in the air, but I agree it could be improved. Thank you for the review ChaosConstant!
