MUST. SELL. HARDER!
It's the cruel life of a door-to-door-salesman. No one wants your junk! So you're going to have to upsell this crap like crazy! Every tool has more than one use right? They must do!
Go from door-to-door trying to sell your wares by giving them a good reason for the use of the tool in question.
With a possible five items to sell, it's a lot harder than it looks to get rid of your old junk!
All controls are carried out with the left mouse button, it's very accessible and there is no peril in the life of a salesman, apologies if you find it a bit dull!
Made in GM Studio 1.4, with GIMP 2 for some graphics and Audacity for audio.
PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A BUG WITH THE HTML5 VERSION WHERE YOU ESSENTIALLY ARE UNABLE TO PLAY, PLEASE USE THE WINDOWS .EXE INSTEAD. APOLOGIES FOR THE INCONVENIENCE!

I struggled to sell everything. In the end, I was only able to sell 3 items... all to the same little girl! (rubber bands, bucket and plunger)

A funny little game! I loved the sounds, and the reasons that you'd come up with to try and sell your junk were pretty funny too. I could easily see a quaint little neighbourhood with these residents as a real place.
I think it could benefit with some more doors though, because it felt a bit repetitive after a while!

Fun idea, the interface is a little weird because the cursor doesn't change when you can click stuff, so it makes everything confusing at first

Seems like there could be a bug with selling things because I also couldn't sell anything to anybody after about 20 or so minutes of trying. But...that does make the game more realistic...no? I did really think there was a bit of a hidden message there till I came to the feedback haha.
I still had some fun trying to peddle my garbage onto people though, and the dialogue was pretty charming and had enough variety. Nice job!

I tried all possible combinations of dialogue options for selling spoons and could not sell them to anyone.

Oh no really? :( I'll have to give this a check, I have an idea of why it might not be possible, but I was sure that I had set it up so that they could be sold with certain combinations.
