The teleportation, scenery and music seems all right, and although the art needs more attention, the gameplay is cool. I felt myself guilty of sacrificing animals just for the sake of being cool, but it was worth it.

Good music and sounds, and the art was good (although there seem to be a lot of conflicting styles). The teleport mechanic was really fun and creative. Unfortunately, most levels can be beaten in a few teleports (for example the last level can be beaten with a single bouncing teleport). Although very entertaining, I didn't feel the impact of sacrifice in your game. However, I can see the potential in this and I'm sure the final product will be very fun!

Good game. Amazing music. The use of theme was a little lackluster (I only realised you could sacrifice those fellas when I accidentally pressed S lol) and you can easily get through the game without pressing S. My biggest complaint would be that those fire bat things can fly through walls, but you can't shoot through walls.

Pretty nice game. Not much of a fun of the shooting effect (it lacks juice) but the teleporting grenade is spot on! The sacrifice didn't give you much drawbacks though, and you look so cool when you do it.
The game was short! Also, it looks like it freezes on the last image when you die without telling you anything, so it just restarts like whatever

Thanks for playing! Ran out of time as you could imagine. I've been saying this alot but if i could go back i would budget more time into the grenade, and sacrifice and maybe do without the shooting entirely. Was a great learning experience tho and will come back with a much better game for the next gm48!

Pretty cool game. I really like the teleport bomb things you can use. Everything else works fine but that was the real standout mechanic. The sacrifice mechanic is kind of fun but a bit lackluster considering it's not hard to get through without it. The visuals are pretty well done an music is good too. I kind of wish it was a bit longer though.

Thanks for playing! First 48 hours game jam and i over budgeted for sure and it ended up biting us, we didnt build out much gameplay and the sacrifice mechanic was actually pretty weak. Happy with what we got done but certainly a ton of room for improvement

Love the challenge behind teleporting! I included it in my GM48: Sacrifice compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/PCTrkXRBDB4

Thanks for playing, I checked out the video and loved seeing you play for a couple minutes. Nice job

What I loved the most about this is the teleport mechanic. Pretty sick. I feel that theme was lightly integrated in the gameplay though. You gain some strenght when you sacrifice the animals... but by the time you get the animal you already passed the whole level anyway... ^_^

Yeah i over budgeted time to some of the other aspects of the gameplay and ran out of time when trying to implement the entire sacrifice, risk/reward type system that goes along with that. Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed the teleport mechanic, because honestly if i expand on the game later down the road it will be the focus of the game i think!

Pretty tight controls. The teleport grenade is a cool mechanic. Visuals are really nice too.
Maybe I'm missing something but I can't tell how it incorporates the theme.

It definitely bare brushes the theme. The idea was to give the player clear strengths to solving the puzzles and getting through the levels when sacrificing the animals, but losing out on a bunch of score in the process. Didn't get to fully implement that, so we are stuck with the game how it is haha. Thanks for playing tho!

I like how you introduce the user to the controls. The control to get past the fire is confusing though as it seems to need a right click and not a left click (as you show in the visual) to release a different bullet (teleport) and you're not introduced to rotating the weapon like you are with the other controls. The game has a nice vibe though.

Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing! Yeah i think i should remove the fire completely from that section of the tutorial so the player focuses more on the porting mechanic. I definitely learned a lot in this jam, but i think i let got ahead of myself a little with the mechanics and didn't focus on the tutorial as much. I also think i could have put much more focus on the teleport mechanic than anything, but got carried away with other stuff.
