You need to authorize your gm48 account when the game launches from your web browser. For the leaderboard
Tips:
Smoke means something is burning, plate/flip it before it burns!
Take advantage of the 1-2-3 to equip ingredients
Multitask (cook and make batter at same time)
You get a bonus for serving multiple pancakes at once! Don't forget to serve though, or you get no points.

Funny game, I was bad at it ^^" I like the name being joke about speed-run categories (any%, glitchless% etc) Nice art and good sounds too, changing pitch towards end works as indicator for time running up.
Good entry :)SubmittedT-ITE v.0.0.1

Neat game. Very satisfying when you make those perfect looking pancakes. The multitasking also feels great when you got a rhythm going. Had some issues knowing when a pancake was flipped. I think having some more feedback when you flip a pancake would be good as I was kinda just clicking them a lot. But maybe the fiddly controls were a part of why I found it pretty fun to go again :D

Cool idea and quite fun to play too. I did get a bit confused at first since I didn't realise there was also sugar to add in. There wasn't any mention of that in the tutorial so when I did the flour and had no batter I was a little lost.
I can see the strategy is to probably make more batter while your pancakes are cooking but I wasn't confident enough to pull that off.
One thing though, when I started the game I was just sat on a black screen for a while before I realised the game wanted me to authorize it on the GM48 website. I didn't think the game was working. Maybe have a message saying you need to authorize the game or something just to give some indication of what it wants you to do. Also it would be nice if ESC was made to close the game too as at the moment you have to Alt+F4 to quit.

Super original idea. The graphics are great - those pancakes look good enough to eat haha. Music is really good as well, and I like that it gets more frantic as time runs out. The controls take some getting used to, but they get the job done.
I wish there were an option to restart after finishing, and it's kind of annoying that there is no built-in way to close the game. Overall though, pretty sweet game!

Really fun and cute game. The concept is pretty unique, and it's quite enjoyable making some nice looking pancakes. The controls seem a little too complicated, but aren't too bad once you get used to them. I feel like I might be missing something though, because I have no idea how some of the top scores have 5000+ points (I know you multitask by making more batter while the first set cooks, but those scores still seems unreachable).
The game looks really nice too. I'm not sure how you did it, but these 2d pixel pancakes look very appetizing. Watching them slowly turn brown is very satisfying. I also really enjoyed the music, especially how it gets more and more frantic as time wears down.
It's just a shame that there seems to be no way to restart without opening the game again - it really hurts the replayability.

Super fun! I kinda want a longer version so I actually have time to go back and make more batter. Good idea. Clicking on things didn't always seem to respond like I thought it would, but it kinda lended itself to the charm of it all and to not take the competition part too seriously. Good job!

Cool idea! And implimented quite well. I did get stuck the first time I played as the tutorial doesn't mention sugar (unless I missed it?) so I'd made my batter with egg/flour, went to the other screen... 'you haven't finished making your batter'. What?!
Other than that, had fun! No idea how first place has got 6k score though. I hit 2k and that was making two sets of batter with 6 pancakes each. Submitted 9 at once and the others after. Are they a pancake wizard?
One minor complaint - the auto fullscreen and auto leaderboard auth opening are a bit annoying, especially as that's the only way you can restart. It actually caused a bug on my PC once or twice where after I'd closed the leaderboard page, the game was actually in it's window size (720p I think?) but as if it was fullscreen. So tiny text and all that, with black bars, in a small window lol. I assume that happened because it instantly full screens but also instantly gets kicked out of focus by the auth page. In general... just start games windowed with a full screen toggle! (Here's an image: https://gyazo.com/2011d1fa2137cfcd8ec489134f4fcd42)
That's not really a game complaint, just a UX thing. The game itself is good and I had fun with it! Graphics/Audio are also good too!

wow that's a lot of feedback, thanks!
the tutorial doesn't have sugar since i was trying to shorten it, maybe wasn't the brightest idea
the 6k was apparently gotten by spamming a shit load of small pancakes
the auto-authentication was a lazy solution by me since we implemented the leaderboards in the last few hours of the jam

Love it, I love pancakes. I am making some right now because I played this. I love that the game exudes pancakes. Great job!

Fun game! I included it in my GM48: Sixty Seconds compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/g5B8P6iV1PI

Another first place beaten by <20 pts 😎
Really fun game! I wish there was a way to end a round sooner et restart / quit without reopening a GM48 authorization page. But the game itself is really good, the different "minigames" fit really well together and I had a good time figuring out how to get a better score.
Since it got posted just below me, the sugar part also confused me a little because the tutorial skipped a step 😅

Unfortunately the game actually didn't work on my end. Everytime I added eggs and flour to the bowl outside of the tutorial, the game wouldn't register that I had made any batter. What I was able to play in the tutorial was fun though.

I like this entry, it's a fun concept and of course who doesn't like the subtle crab reference? 🦀 I think auto-fullscreen then the auto-authorising the scores behind it confused me a little bit and I think both of our games had the same case where, if we had more than 60 seconds, we could do so much more, but I really liked what you'd made here, great job!

suck it nerds >:D
This is pretty fun! My only real complaint is that auto-fullscreening and auto-triggering the leaderboard auth every time the game is launched are both quite annoying
Edit: oh I may have found a bug also, if you go to the griddle screen too quick it seems like the batter doesn't register as having been finished?

I found the controls a little overwhelming at first, but once finished the tutorial, everything went much smoother.
Love the graphics and sound effects and how you can see the pancakes slowly being cooked. Very good game and original theme!

This was super dope, i really like all the graphics for this it reminds me of those old like Spy Fox, Freddy Fish, clicky games. The actual cooking on the griddle mechanic was super dope. The controls for making batter were a bit finicky(though perhaps on purpose) and having the batter dumper in my hand and struggling to drop it were the biggest hangups other than no way to restart on the score screen. Super nifty game awesome job friends!
