I feel like I'm missing a huge thing with this. It's wonderfully polished (apart from maybe the font not having punctuation), with fitting sound effects and a tense atmosphere... but I either seem to have the option of starting to the left and the game immediately terminating, or going right and the timer elapsing before I have any opportunity to pull the lever and get back or explore further? And I never had the time to see anything suggesting an actual loop was in play, despite the game almost aggressively reaffirming it through the text.
Kind of disappointed after such a promising buildup, but you have great groundwork here for something special!

I went to the Right straight away and was like "what..." haha but honestly I don't mind this, it made me want to reload it up and go to the left to see what was there, so actually this was a good ploy!
Pros, my best thing about this game by far is the art, it love the style, I like how it was consistent with one another.
Neg would be no music, but I felt the clock was enough to add urgency anyway, and I'm guessing this is what you was going for?
I found it really difficult to try and beat it and didn't manage to by going to the left, was it beatable or was the whole Idea was to find out to go to the right anyways?
Congrats.. PS I also love the Icon for this game being Death, it's really nice vector art.

It seems quite a shame, there's a lot of interesting level design off to the right, but I don't have enough time to explore it all. Like the others, I could just walk to the left and win. I wish I was able to see what all the rest of the game looked like.
I love the visuals! Sprites are well drawn and animated, there's some nice particle effects going on, and I appreciate the subtle squishing of the player sprite when you jump. 10/10 in that department.
As for gameplay, the controls feel nice and responsive, although I wish the moving platforms were a little bit slower. As others have said, there's a lot of waiting time between deaths; It would be better if the intro could be skipped, and also have the death sequence shortened.

Well that was... easy? I seen you spawn in the middle, first time i went right (usually in platformers that's the way) and died, went left when i respawned and won? I guess that's intentional? eitherway nice entry
