It's chow time, or so you thought. As you are about to bite into a DEEEEELICIOUS hot dog, you accidentally drop it down an open manhole. With harpoon in hand, without a second thought, you jump down the sewer only to find your hot dog has been eaten by a strange creature lurking in the shadows. You only have one shot make it count.

Interesting idea! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the games from the GM48, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/kfb6IM-P_cA

Not much to add, but I really liked how information was painted on the walls!

Cool game! Good job, it looks like the old flash games that I loved to play. Keep working on this game.

People mentioned many things that need improvement, I won't repeat after them everything was said.

I love how the wall works as a HUD! Reminds me of old Flash games that did similar things. The guy talking and the mouth noise make it humoristic and I liked this too.

It was kinda fun, but gets repetitive. I like the efforts!

Cool game. I like shooting enemies and picking up the harpoon. I also enjoy the inclusion of different powerups - the explosive one is particularly fun. Unfortunately, it can get a bit repetitive. The powerups and enemies seem to respawn in the same place and there are no new elements introduced as the game progresses.

The graphics look pretty good. Having the tutorial messages painted on the background is a nice touch. The sound effects are mostly well done, but the voices sometimes overlap each other. The music sounds cool.

Thanks for the feedback Veralos. The whole powerups and enemy issue was over looked, and we've fixed it in the updated version on our website. Thanks for playing! ^_^

A interesting concept and a neat little action game. I kept getting hurt by the dead enemies and it got quite hard to not take any damage when there were a lot of corpses laying about so you pretty much had to walk into them to clear them up to be able to shoot the new enemies.

Hi Furiiku. I saw that issue right after the game got submitted, and it has been fixed in the updated version on our website. Thanks for playing, and thanks a lot for the feedback! ^_^

Pretty cool and fun game, but it definitely feels like it lacks inspiration, both art and music are alright, even though they clash with eachother, the gameplay is fun for a little bit until you realize everything is gonna stay the same throughout the whole game. I got to 60-something kills and then died, not because I got overwhelmed, but because I got bored and ran into the piles of enemies.

Tuning some stuff like hp and harpoon power would've gone a long way towards making this game feel more polished, for example, why do you have a power bar if no charge instakills an enemy just like the max charge does. Other than those little mistakes I'd say the game was ok.

Thanks for the feedback Problematicar. We were going to try and different elements like different types of enemies, and a store but ran short on time. The bit about the hp and harpoon power is a good idea, and if we make a game like this on in the future we'll be keeping that in mind. Thanks for playing! :P

Interesting premise... I loved how the hot dog guy was like a Duke Nukem of sorts - I guess you find heroes in unlikely characters! Gameplay wise I thought it needed improvement - there was a lack of satisfaction when you killed an enemy, and I lost track of the harpoon when there were lots of enemies. I didn't like how the health drained too, instead of taking a set amount of damage and then going into an invulnerability state.

Hi Nik Sudan! Thanks for the feedback. :) The health system is definitely something we will look at the next time we make a game like this one, and I like your suggestion about get hit and going into an invulnerability state. Thanks for playing! ^_^
