Loop story is an interactive mini-movie. Help Fred save Marylin from a tragic death.
For this, change the detents of the scene one by one and play it again, until finding the happy ending.
The game is played with the mouse (left click). Click on the elements of the scene to modify it. And click on the VCR buttons to play, pause or rewind.

The game keeps crashing...
- The first time I played, I got to the point where I could click on stuff, but now whenever I try, the game crashes when I click. :/ There's no way to tell when I'm supposed to click on stuff, which is confusing. A cue would be very helpful
- Okay so now I managed to change the traffic light. But nothing changed: the car doesn't show up but she still gets hit...?? and the game crashed later on.
- Managed to end the game in the end. Unless you do the trash can, the game crashes apparently?
- When you start fullscreen, don't let the default alt+enter to remove it, let us a way to close the window with escape rather than forcing alt+f4
- For the dialogue, you could have used pink for when Maryline talks. I feel like it was a bit unnecessary to have their names spelled out in each boxes (not identifying them by name unless they say it themselves feels more immersive in my opinion)
- Nitpick: As the story goes, the solution feels a bit strange to me. Okay, she doesn't get hit, but they rather easily reconcile, which felt a bit unatural. Having her almost get hit would have worked better in my opinion, cause there was not much emotion to go through her as the car is too far to be considered a danger. The trash bin could have been placed near the sidewalk
Aside that though, I liked that you use the television gimmick as it goes well with that rewind and play think. At this level it's original! I thought it was an interesting game, it just lacked polish

Definitely different than many of the other jam games! I liked the VCR theme. I felt like the game wasn't very intuitive to play - it would've been nice if it were more obvious what objects were clickable. Also, I made a change once without immediately rewinding and...got the happy ending after Marylin was dead? All in all, a very creative game.

I started playing, rewinded once after the car incident, then watched a bit and the game crashed:

Hello there, I loved that it felt like image was on an old CRT tv, the idea would have been nice, it would be great if it had more scenarios, I only had to click 1 item at the end, rewind and the game was over for me, then the next scene had a black cat and I felt it could have carried on but with a slightly different set up, but it was the credits.
The music fit the style of game and the tv show :) the drama type, it's cool.
The things I'd change (that I feel is fair within 48 hours) a bit more instruction, maybe a highlight around the objects you could click when you could click them, just for a first timer. I would also add an easy ability to escape, I had to ctrl esc out.
This idea fit the theme really nice and I think this is where it gets higher marks from me.

Very creative idea!
What I liked:
-Music was chill and fitting
-Presents some fun surprises while playing through
-Short but sweet experience with lots of potential for a full lenght game
-Overall look
-Sound effects
What I'd like to see improved:
-Visuals, some sprites for the people would have been great!
-A bit short, but I can only imagine the effort even this "short" scene needed
Game felt very fresh and was fun to play through!

... I mean... erm? I completed the game but it wasn't clear that i could only do things AFTER the scene finished, it would of been nice to of interacted with more stuff, experiment a little so it didn't feel so linear

Not sure if I'm missing something or the game is really broken? Nothing I click except the VCR buttons do anything. Which sucks cause it seems like a great idea.
Update: We went back and played it now we know to wait til the scene ends. I knocked marylin out with a flower pot and I think Fred dragged her onto the road. Pretty funny game and a super cool concept :)
