    The pew pew is awesome. Really nice diverse art throughout. The characters have personality somehow. And the score is spot on for this style. Really enjoyed this entry. I got stuck in the laser floors a couple of times. Couple of other collision issues. Add a tiny bit of coyote time too. This was a really nice entry, well done.

    Hi! I really enjoyed your game, I love these smaller pixel-style action-platformers. I think the theme was implemented good, I loved seeing the effects of the orbs, seeing the world slowly returning to color.

    I loved the art in general, especially the pink flowery stage!

    A few small bugs I noticed: -At the part with the several colored floors you can walk right and fall off the world. -At the ice stage you are drawn in front of the water, everywhere else your "behind" it, like you're submerged. -You can get stuck in the beams.

    These bugs would't be such a big deal if you had something like a "press to instantly die"-button to get back to the last checkpoint. Because the one time I fell off the world I had to start the game anew. And at the Boss-Stage I got stuck in a beam, but couldn't reach an orb with my gun again, making me frozen there forever.

    So I think implementing such a "respawn" button would be good.

    Nonetheless, I had a lot of fun with your game and didn't mind replaying it three times, at all ;)

      Yeah I originally had the intention for something impossible to pass through to the end without the green gem but it slipped my mind in the chaos.

      The ice stage was originally meant to have turtles which would be in the water but they were cut at legitimately the last minute because they kept crashing the game (hence why the player is in front of the water for that level)

      I was a fool with the boss fight and left it too late so yeah xD.

      With a bit more time I would've done a restart level button but yeah forgot whether 'r' would restart game or level.

    I thought a lot of the art was well done, there was some repetitive tiling, but when you collect a color and the world shifts, it's pretty cool. The game starts of "bland" on purpose then gets really colorful as you advance and I like that, it's fitting with the theme.

    My biggest gripe with it is that there is little feed back randomly, if you shoot a bat with a purple gun it flashes, it's obvious you are shooting it, however if you shoot the orbs they don't flash, also the player doesn't display anything when taking damage, no sound effect, no flash, no screenshake, other than the heart going down, which isn't noticeable at first.

    The music was fitting with the style of the game.

    Only "advice" I can give is subjective: However there was a few times I'd fall of the edges before jumping, it's always nice with platformers to have a little give on that, so allow a jump a 100milliseconds or so after leaving platform, as the eye doesn't always see exactly what's going on in twitchy movement. But as I said this is my preference and not a down grade on your behalf.

    I completed this game and was confused as to if I had won or not, but as you mention it's a glitch, forgivable considering the time frame!

    I think there is a lot of stuff here for 48 hours, you should be proud.

      Hi trolog thanks for the feedback

      In regards to the repetitive tiling, there was the intention to have a replay ability factor in that you'd see more colours and more variety as you went back to earlier levels later in the game.

      For the little feed back I sorta forgot to put the hit flashes on the orbs (I did the entire boss fight in the last hour of the competition) and I just ran out of time for the screen shake and sound effect for player getting damaged.

      Again thanks for the feedback, we are definitely proud of what we were able to achieve - a step in the right direction.

    The title music is an absolute bop, and aside from the big glitch at the end I rate it highly.
