Like other have said, the ennemies move too randomly. I gave up when I saw that level with 4 generators, with unavoidable damage that's at least 8 sacrifices if I'm lucky, and that would just be too long, as the game is not that interesting in this state.

From what I saw, you already made too many levels, you need to balance you time to get better gameplay before making so many levels. So yeah, ennemies need to be on paths. Paths are pretty easy to use and would have fit very well here. The background makes everything kinda unreadable, just look a that title screen. Shots from ennemies are almost invisible, too small and not contrasted enough. But I didn't even try to avoid them anyway so..

With some little fixes it could have been a fine little game.

Also, how is everyone making sound for their games ? Why are jam games always SO LOUD ? I usually need to put my volume at like 20%, and that's still kinda loud.

First things first, never use an installer.

Ok so, this game has a great idea, and executes it well, or so it seems for literally the first level, before you notice that the game is basically just an RNG shitfest. This could've been a really really good game, but you put waaaayy too much rng in your enemies. In a game like this predictability is what makes it interesting and fun, if your enemies literally move and shoot at random you suck the fun out of the game and it becomes just "Let's hold this sequence of keys and hope for good rng".

It also has a good amount of polish, and I really wanted to enjoy it, but yeah, next time less RNG and no installer.

Pretty cool idea. The game's fun at first but it gets a bit samey after a while. I think you could've explained the fact that you deal damage to the generator relative to your health better. It seemed completely random whether the generators would be destroyed until I figured that out. I also dislike how the enemies are random as it makes the levels seem very luck based.

The graphics are okay. I like the generator explosion effect. The sounds for re-spawning and exploding are pretty good. The enemy shooting sound is fine on it's own but gets annoying when there are a ton of enemies shooting at the same time.

Was fun enough to play for a while and trying to be sneaky, but after the first few levels I stopped after seeing that there was little consequence to dying and just ran into the goals without thinking, just hoping to get lucky. The enemies seem too unpredictable and some music would've been nice

I agree with the previous feedbacks, the enemies are a pain, especially those who shoot in the line that you must go through. You can't predict them and it makes taking damage unfair, too RNG.

    Also, VERY IMPORTANT:

DO NOT USE INSTALLERS. NEVER EVER USE INSTALLERS If I had not the intend to play all the gm48 games, I would have not played it. Prefer zip files or executables if you need, but for a game jam, never ever go with installers...

EDIT (reply): Well no, what is done is done. Just keep it in mind for your next participation :)

This game is addictive and fun, with good level design and sound effects (a bit too loud in my opnion, but great nonetheless).

As cortop said, the behaviour of the enemies is very unpredictable. If only you fixed this, the game would be neat.

Nice action/puzzle game. The explosion was very crunchy and satisfying. Graphics were alright. The game feels very complete so good job on that! Also the game matches the theme well.

My only criticism is the behaviour of the enemies. They move too fast and too randomly. If they moved slower then you could dodge them. If they were more predictable, then you could plan ahead and choose a safer path. As it is now, it sometimes feels like pure luck if I avoid an enemy or not.

I like the concept. Explosion sound matched really well to the generator destruction.

Constructive criticism -I noticed the player regenerates after you complete the level before the next level loads. felt a little like a bug though I realize this might be the game mechanics.
