A sim game where you decide how to carry out a sacrifice based on the cultural even it coincides with and the god with whom you seek favor. Select the what you will sacrifice, when you will carry out the ceremony, where to host the ritual, and how you will remove your donation from the world of mortals. By making the correct selections you will win the favor of the gods and ensure the success of your people. Choose wrong and you risk offending the gods, and bringing their powerful destructive forces on your civilization.

    The ambience and visuals of this game are incredible!!! The music sets the tone all right and I loved the gameplay. My only complaint is that the texts seems a bit vague (except for the Sun God), but I could finish the game anyway. Good job!

    Really simple idea, executed really well, the great art and sound make it look good.

    The game is still kinda frustrating though, the biggest problem being that you can't change your choices, also there are some minor problems like miswriting and hard to read text in some places.

    Overall a pretty good game, I loved the art and sound.

    It's an interesting idea but feels a bit lacking. It's not very obvious why you would want to make a certain sacrifice for a certain god, or what poor/good sacrifices even do. I guess the ambiguous criteria is part of the challenge, but it feels somewhat unfair. The game is also a bit short.

    The presentation is overall well done. The music and sound effects suit the game. The art is really nice, so it's a shame it isn't all that prominent in the gameplay. I would've liked to see what the gods looked like, at least. The menu screen does look good, but I would have liked to see more of the art.

    This is a good concept, and I really like the artstyle, so I was disappointed by the main menu where you choose what to do. Even he same thing but with visual buttons instead of text would have been so much better.

    Nice artwork and the concept fits the theme well. I really wasn't sure how my choices affected the outcome, unless I didn't choose to sacrifice anything, which made the gods angry.

    I really liked the music and intro visuals; very well done on those! However, the content didn't have as much impact compared to its intentions (I assume; maybe time constraints). If some more impact was there for the choices (consequences / benefits) I think it would make for a fun game, instead of seemingly random selections for the gods. Otherwise I can see the potential with it! Just wished there were more than three levels to go along the great music and visuals.

      That is so nice to hear! Thank you. About two hours before the deadline we were at a point where we could easily recreate the rooms as different sacrifices but we decided to wrap it up and make it complete instead by ending it and giving the option to restart from the first.

    Lacks... something. For a game of the kind, you would expect more than three sacrifices. By the way, please, the theme's name should be difficult to mess up, but you constantly wrote it "sacrafice"... :( It's sacrifice!

    The intro is splendid though and the visuals aren't bad but... it lacks some kind of punch...

      Thank you so much! We really liked the intro. It builds it up to be epic but then the game play, or rather the result of the game play, didn't end up matching the intensity level. Thanks for commenting.

    The graphics and sound are great! It's really thematic; from the worn stone-like buttons, to the fading-in scroll with the flavor text. The text gives you everything you need to choose the proper offering; all you need to do is read it carefully. It's a fun test of reading comprehension and it immerses the player in the game. I like the music too; it's a great soundtrack to making hard choices for the good of your civilization. It really felt like it made the choices weigh heavier. Who gets to die, someone's goat, or someone's child? And if you make no choices at all, the Gods punish your ambivalence. That was a fun little Easter Egg to discover. For a game that relies so heavily on the reading, I wish there were fewer typos. I would have liked to see a little more variety to the game, like randomizing the position of the choices or throwing in bogus ones. FULL DISCLOSURE: I know the devs personally.

    Nice idea, but as Jmation said, game would have needed something to visualize the result and also then ending. I liked the narration and it's visualization. But the gameplay itself felt that there was not much, also from graphical aspect.

      Right, thank you....after testing so many times it was hard to know how it was going to feel for the player. We thought we might be able to like over compensate with many levels so that the writing/story could carry the game but then, boom, deadline :) Thanks for the comment
