Click the targets popping up on your screen to make them disappear.
You only have one shot: you win, you lose.
Every 10 waves you'll have to face all the targets you've missed.
Out of time? You've lost.
- Amount of targets missed has nothing to do with win/loss state. Not hitting every target on every 10th wave doesn't result in loss.
- Hitting 'W' in-game gives you a way to set the current wave.
I'll get to making a HTML5 version where you can disable these mistakes.
(of course this won't be the way the game was finished during the 48h period)
Summary
Right on Target is a simple and enjoyable game praised for its catchy music and appealing papery art style. Players found the gameplay engaging, with different target patterns adding variety, though some noted it could become repetitive. Feedback also mentioned a desire for more content, better click feedback, and some gameplay mechanics feeling harsh or confusing. Overall, the game was well received and considered fun, especially suitable for tablet play.

Simple but well made game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the games from the GM48, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/kfb6IM-P_cA

Really fun game with good artstyle & music.
I got confused though, because when you miss a moving target and it goes off screen, the timer continues and you have to wait until it's done, even if there's no more target to click

Nice game. It's fun trying to quickly hit all the targets and the different movement/placement helps to keep things interesting. Losing instantly by clicking on the background feels really harsh, though.
I really the papery visual style and the way the target move away when you click on them. The music is also quite good.

I like the music, wished for it to build up a bit more!
I like the artstyle, although I wish there was a bit more content to show off more. I also would have liked a click feedback, even when you miss.

I like the artstyle and music, gameplay was a little repetitive but the different patterns and targets managed to keep it fresh for a while, I had fun playing and I'd say it's not a bad entry at all.

I really enjoyed this game. Each loss made me want to keep trying and get further than I did the last time. I could see it working well as a tablet game.

Thanks! I agree with you, this game could be more fun with tapping the targets than clicking. I'll look into that!
