    • The music sounds dissonant. I'd suggest keeping it a bit more simple. Notes seem to be a tad too random.
    • Mixels! Avoid that. The background is a different resolution of the rest. Also the player's sprite is slightly smaller than the sprite of the other elements of the background. It looks odd.
    • Bullet are too small imo, it can give such a good visual impact to have bigger bullets.
    • Hitboxes seem a bit too large

    Love the main menu though!

Challenging game! I included it in my GM48: Countdown compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/WM7q7yEUpUY

Cool inspiration for the look of the game! (except the back ground which is like 4 pixels, while everything else has a much higher resolution)

I never found the watch item, there was only the 1-use shotgun and the powerup reloads.

The music (which is kinda obnoxious) kept restarting randomly, with like a "3,2,1" starting to appear for a frame in the middle, like the whole room was restarting.

The second weapon was completely useless, since every enemy die in one hit, and the first weapon has an infinite rate of fire. And everything feels very weak, like there's no impact.

The slomo effect was extremely cool though!

This feels like it has potential to be really cool but it's just missing something. It's fun for a bit but gets repetitive after a while. Maybe some more enemy types or power ups could have helped, though obviously you were limited by the time constraints of the jam. There should at least be more reason to swap weapons - they're both pretty similar and there are no ammo limits so there's little reason to change. The visuals and audio are overall pretty well done and mostly work well together. I'm really not a fan of the overly pixellated background though.

Oh, and you should probably use WASD instead of arrow keys for a mouse based game. Or you could have both available for use.

    Needs more juice.

The time slowdown mechanic is kinda neat.

The game art is interesting and I LOVE the main menu. The sounds of the weapons are good but could be improved in some ways. The gun's feeling could be improved by shaking screen or things like that. The game environment is cool and the enemies too but I think that their animations is a bit too static. A nice game in general with great assets.
