    I somehow was able to get two songs playing at once, lol. The goal of the game was kind of confusing - go for guns? or go down floors? Very well polished entry though, quite fun

    This was pretty fun. Nice art, gameplay and music. I have to admit I was a bit confused at first. I did read the description but I wasn't sure what my goal was and so I kept jumping down floors. After a while I realised I should ideally be waiting around for the chest to open to get a new weapon but it takes a long time for that to happen, even on the first floors. Then I died and saw it was saying I should be collecting magic berries so I began doing that after.

    The gameplay is very fun but the time to unlock the chest needs to be toned down. Or perhaps you can add ways to decrease the timer. Maybe have it so you can destroy the chest with your weapon so you either wait for the timer or shoot at it repeatedly to damage and break the chest and potentially get the weapon earlier. Or maybe killing enemies builds up a multiplier of some kind that increases the chest unlock speed. Just a few ideas. As it stands now it just takes a bit too long and after a few floors it feels a little tedious to wait around for the next chest to unlock.

    As mentioned previously, the goal of the game isn't too clear either. I'm guessing it's to get as many magic berries as possible but I'm still not 100% sure to be honest. But despite these problems I still had a good time. It felt very smooth to play and satisfying to kill the enemies. Could just use a few tweaks here and there but overall great work.

    Wow, very polished entry with great graphics and music. As others have said, the chest unlock time is a bit too long, but that didn't keep me from fighting it out as long as possible to earn a new gun. Very fun and addictive!

    A pretty decently fun game,

    My only real complaints are the chest timer lasting a bit too long, and the fact you can use the scroll wheel to switch through guns.

    I think the chest timer issue can be fixed by having each enemy you kill take time off it, that would make opening them an active hunt vs an last as long as you can, plus having to hunt monster while the floor collapsed would make it pretty interesting, you can even have one that runs away but reduces the chest time by a lot, to give the player something to think about.

    The scroll wheel thing is more a personal preference, but there's a reason most shooter games use the wheel for quick swap and numbers for targeted.

    Anyways pretty good game, good use of the theme.

    Great game feel, and I love the Vlambeer style. I did feel it didn't hit the mark on the theme as much as it could have though. Perhaps if the terrain was destructible that would have put it over the top. Otherwise, really well put together game, keep up the good work!

    Nice art, I like the little touches like shadows under the monsters. Quite a polished entry!

    Some nitpicks:

    • The music got a bit annoying, and at one point it just turns off.
    • The chests should have a shorter timer to increase the pace of the game.

    Great job with this! I agree with someone else here that the chest unlocking time needs to be reduced - by the third level I started avoiding the floor breaking plenty but still found it taking an oddly long time for the chest to unlock. BUT I had a ton of fun playing this and it looks great! Good job :)

    This is a good entry. The time for getting the weapon needs reduced or the floor needs to break slower. Movement is great and the Nuclearthrone style fits this game if only waiting around was more worth it to the player, if the later levels could also include more chests.... i dunno, just an idea.

    A couple issues with the game. When you die the prompt says that you can hit 'R' to Restart, but it also just brings you to the main menu. And also at one point i got one shoted by the beam that the one eyed guys shoot.

    This was a great entry! The game feel was really good, and overall everything controls well and works great. My one critique is that it never felt worth it to wait around in a level. It's like the game wants you to choose between instantly moving to the next floor or waiting around for at least another minute and probably dying just to get a new gun, which doesn't seem like a super balanced choice to me. I'd maybe make the chests faster or make the ground decay slower, so that it is slightly less difficult to just move past a stage and slightly more accessible to get new guns.

      Yeah I think making the score time survived and scaling up the later level difficulty a bit more, and making the level fall apart slower would combat this effect, meaning its beneficial to stay on higher levels.

    This was pretty polished considering the time frame. I'm probably going to play this again if I'm being honest.

    I'm trying to think of things to nit pick at here but I'm struggling considering the time frame the game was made in.

    Seriously epic entry.

    I liked the little ninja character. I liked the "Juice" of the game. The UI was even great.

    Honestly I'm finding it difficult to give you some critique to work with but If I HAD to pick something it would be like the enemies kind of clump together a little and go marching straight towards you but even then you still have the tools available to kill them off quickly.

    I'm impressed.

      Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad the extra effort to make it 'feel' good didn't go unnoticed. I probably spent a quarter of my time on stupid tweaks like particle effects and the camera and screenshake.

    Wow this was really fun and very verll designed! The balance of having to survive on barely any ground left so tha tyou can updrage your gun is genius! :D

    My only gripes where with very loud repetiutive sounds for the bullets, and that I didn't get what the objective was, since survival time was not the score at the end :D I might suggest tonign the sounds down and adding more scores/ways to win or to record how far you get. Would help with replayability.

    Overall amazing game tho, loved it!

    Wow, awesome work! Serious Nuclear Throne vibes. I really like the falling-through-floors approach to progressing through the level, its a really clever mechanic. I managed to grab two weapons (the rocket launcher and the ak47) and they both feel great to use. I only ended up getting 7 magic berries before succumbing to my wounds.

    By the way- the smoke effect on the rockets looks fantastic. Overall a really cool entry.
