In theory it should run at the hz of your screen, so 144hz users should be happy

amazing. love the effects and the enemy death sounds, the music is perfect as well
the menu did confuse me at first and shooting diagonally was difficult sometimes though

Its a fun game. I like the art work but It gets a little too messy when the floor is covered in blood. but a quality game. good job

Nice game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the games from the GM48, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/ZzdTZAUuWWs

Cool game. It's fun running around blasting enemies and I like all the different weapons you can use. The game feels really polished with some nice visuals and neat effects when killing enemies. My score was 13625.
The thing that really brings the game down a bit is that it quickly becomes difficulty to tell what's happening due to the characters and items blending in with the blood. The persistent blood is cool but not worth sacrificing the visual readability of the game.

ooh yeah, pretty smooth indeed. Too bad there isn't more aggressive enemies and a link with the theme.

Solid game. It does remind me a lot of Smash TV, and I f*cking love Smash TV. Gameplay felt good, though not particularly new or interesting.
I didn't particularly enjoy the audio for the laser weapon (to the point where I avoided the pickups on purpose), and I don't really see how it fits with the theme in any meaningful way. But all around a good game.

Nice little shooter game. I liked how the room becomes a complete mess after blasting so many enemies. The weapons were well done. I like how you can shoot the different options on the main menu. I wish there were different types of enemies, different rooms, and maybe objectives or waves. Sometimes the move controls felt like they got stuck at times. The music reminded me of Johnny C. Bad from Final Fantasy VI.

Solid entry! Very juicy, nice feedback when you shoot. I like screenshake, but would have liked it to be a bit less shakey (unfortunately it's either full shake either no shake)
Too bad the challenge isn't there, the game remains easy and the gun upgrades are all so powerful. It feels nice, but it lacks some kind of objective or something to spice it up (another enemy type, maybe one that shoots a bit faster)
I really love that you know where enemies will spawn, but it makes them easier to kill :p

This had agood game feel to it. It played nice and smoothly and was easy to understand. The only issue I had was that the player's respawn wasent very obvious. It took me a while to realize where I was respawning, but that might just have been me lol. Good job

This game is juicy af, I probably liked it more than I should have, because I'm a sucker for games like this, and everything from the intense screenshake to the fast paced action screamed nuclear throne at me, I mean, the enemy bullets are basically the same lol.
But yeah, the controls we tight, everything was really fun, and the music was lit, I'm kinda wondering if you're JW right now.
Balancing was kinda off tho, some weapons were really overpowered, and the game in general just felt like an easy power move, without a real objective other than seeing that score go higher, usually the difficulty progression helps with that, but just making the same easy enemy spawn faster is not gonna do the trick.
I still really liked it tho, my only real complaint is that it doesn't connect to the theme at all.

It's a decent game, just a little repetitive. Maybe add some progression by introducing some new enemies as you continue, or by making the waves stronger. Also, I liked that you had multiple weapons, but maybe differentiate them more; for example, the laser just seemed like a strictly better choice than the machine gun. Anyway, the combat was satisfying with all of the "juice" you added, and I liked the music. You should expand on this project a little more; it's a good start.

This is really good. Few problems though - it takes too long to get going, so to speak. The game's just kind of laughably easy for a few minutes at the start. It also caps off way too early - I could probably survive indefinitely in what seemed to be the endgame. A simple solution would be even one more enemy type with a more hefty attack. On the note of recommending more content, the existing weapons are kind of standard. I can barely thing of a game that doesn't have lasers, miniguns, shotguns and your basic pistol. How about things I've never seen before - a gun that shoots parasitic worms or something. Weapon design is an opportunity for some mad creativity. Sound and visuals, both really good too. I nitpick at great length but then also I sat here and shot these dudes for who knows how long so obviously I like the videogame.

This is loads of fun, but it's very short lived. The enemies don't get any harder, and you're constantly overpowered. If they spawned more often and/or had different shooting patterns/shot quicker, then I think this would have been a real gem. Please continue with this after the jam - I really liked what I played!

Fun little shooter. Music is great and suits the hectic gameplay. Splat graphics and surface work looks great and adds to the chaos. Great job! In answer to the person asking about the theme, he explains all enemies die in one shot. The theme can be used however you interpret it, so seems fine to me.

I don't see how this fits the theme. The player has plenty of bullets and 2 health. This has nothing to do with "One Shot."

Favorite game so far! It oozes "juices"! And it's blast to play. Sound and music was good. The laser sound was tab bit annoying but that's my only gripe. Nice job!
