Challenges: I went for Low Rez (the game window scales up if you have something above 1080p, but it's 256 by 256) and Pacifist, which probably works for most of my games anyways :D I wish I had time for any proc gen, I had ideas for it.
The game: I had a lot more planned, so this is mainly the basic ideas. I didn't have that much time this week-end, and I didn't really know how to do stuff so I improvised. Still glad of what there, I didn't think I'd be able to make more than like 2 levels, and I wasn't sure all the mechanics would work, so that's still pretty good.

YES I love that you made a game with multiple windows! That's one mechanic that I've thought about playing around with for actually probably ten years or something but never got around to it. The puzzles utilize the mechanic in many creative ways that I never thought of.

The part where you had to open up a new window was quite hard. I found that one out by pure chance. It's impressive that you made it work that way, though. The art, sound and overall polish is underdeveloped, but I had some quite good "oh, that's cool" moments. I did not experience any bugs apart from some small visual glitches related to the multiple windows.

I kind of gave up halfway because I just couldn't figure out how to solve a level but yeah lol. Nice little entry, I really like what you did with moving the window to look around and stuff, that's a really cool concept. Shame there's really nothing else to it. (or maybe there is but I couldn't reach to it lol)

Very inspiring to see such an original way of creating gameplay and difficulty!

I would've loved some music or something but all the time you had probably went to other stuff, understandably. can't wait to see what other thing's you'll come up with!

Thanks :) Yeah, I barely had the time to finish the game as it is here, the wall bumping sound was really last minute since it seemed relatively important, but sacrifices had to be made πŸ˜”

That "aaahhhhh" moment when you figure something out is what makes this game shine - the technical ability to do what you've done here (without giving too much away) is amazing and I am very impressed! Great job! :)

Finished every level, I was admittedly not super impressed with the first puzzle element twist because the game's display hinted at it, but then taking it a step further and getting more meta did impress me quite a bit!

The game definitely has issues, like not correctly displaying the visual elements of the puzzles all the time (for example, the light beams will only show up "once" if that makes sense in a non spoilery way). But the puzzles are creative and the idea of progressively warping the game you're playing is cool.

Other things like some visual sprucing up and more sounds than the BZZT of hitting walls would be nice, but good entry nonetheless.

      Thanks for the feedback!
Yeah, the "desync" is a bug that kinda turned into a feature. I mean, I solved it enough for the game to still work, but since I was running out of time and it looked like something I wanted to do (some sort of parallel dimension) I decided to leave it there :D

a deceptive little puzzle game full of surprises. I was really impressed with the level progression and how each lead you to take on a new concept or angle to the puzzles. Your use of emojis was also a brilliant take on the theme too!

This was one of the coolest games I've played in a long while. I won't spoil the solutions for anyone, but if you think you're stuck you aren't! No sound effects and no music and the sprites were pretty basic. But, the gameplay mechanic made up for that and then some. Feels like something I could have made in GM8.1, didn't realize they still let you do stuff like this in the latest version of studio! Nicely done.

      Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
I really didn't have the time to have it playtested so I had no idea how difficult it would be to figure stuff out, so this is also a relief :D

I got stuck and couldn't figure out how to finish it. Super cool concept of moving the screen around, though. Never figured out what the two computer monitors meant.
