CONTROLS:

Use your MOUSE to point your arms, then use SPACE to pull yourself in that direction.

Use “F” to attack towards the direction of your mouse.

Use “E” to drink when you are touching a liquid.

Use “G” to enter Berserk mode, be careful when in berserk mode your water drains a lot faster

Very interesting concept for a game. It can be fun trying to survive as long as possible and it's pretty funny how you can drink your own blood after a fight to hydrate yourself. The controls are a bit weird (if you're using the mouse to aim anyway why not click to move) but they ultimately worked.

The visuals are pretty nice and create a nice sense of being stuck in the desert. I like the trail you create when moving and how liquids are highlighted to indicate they're close enough to drink. The sound were okay but a bit repetitive.

Since you will hear them a lot, the sounds desperately needed pitch variation, they were repetitive and annoying.

I like the concept though, it's rather funny!

Maybe read the rules next time considering the music...

Challenging game! I included it in my GM48: Countdown compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/MHzNKYCzwks

You're not supposed to use music made outside the jam, even if royalty free. Speaking of sounds, the sound effect (and the music) were SUPER LOURD, even at 50% windows volume, but I could barely hear the ambiant background at 100%.

Anyway this is a cool game, really fun idea.

Those sound effects shudder This game has a great atmosphere!

Are the cacti meant to hurt you when you hit them? I couldn't find a way to destroy them without taking damage...

I survived in three minutes and crawled around the world! Or were I just dizzy and crawled in a circle? Who knows?

I really like the idea of an RPG where you take the role of a person stranded in the desert who needs something to drink. It would not be this fun if it weren't for all different obstacles and rewards which you can judge how to approach. The movement and sound of the character really set the theme. The music in berserk mode is also good but it will maybe make your game disqualified from the competition.

The trail left behind in the sand was a nice touch! Always good to feel like you have a lasting impact on the world.

The berserk mode was fun too :)

Unfortunately the coordinates of my mouse in the game did not always match up with where my mouse actually was, which made navigating the UI a little hard.

Interesting take on the theme! Too bad you broke rule #4 :(
