Tet-what? Who-tris? Play as an Amplegore, as well as a suspiciously familiar array of multi-ominos, as you try to build as high as possible, far out of the original play area, without popping your deliciously sanguine epidermis.
Go up! Don't make lines! Those don't make you go up! Up! Go up! UP

I don't know what demon pact forced you to settle on RDFG, but besides that this was my favorite entry to play so far! I'm a big tetris fan so it took a second to rewire my brain but once it clicked it was very fun.

I love this idea so much! It started really easy and then got very difficult for me. My high score we 27m. Overall, I really enjoyed it and the music slaps! Great entry!

I wasn't very good at this game. I liked the idea of it though. The control scheme was a bit odd. The music felt a bit out of place.

I love games where I stack blocks, but I had to fight my programming to not clear lines of said blocks. I think the hitbox on mr gore man could've been a thinner to make it more forgiving. Other than that, no real issues. The lyrics of the music are so corny it's very funny.

Opsie, looks like I played your game on stream by accident. guess I better post the Vod link here. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1803296797?t=00h52m19s
I both love and hate this game greatly.

Really cool take on tetris! My brain is kind of bad at doing two things at once, but the slow starting speed helped alot. I have no idea how you made so much song and still had time to code a game, good job :)

Thank you very much for playing! The music was the first thing I did, a couple of hours in Magix Music Maker 😄 Everything else came after that!

Very fun entry! The presentation is very nice too, and it fits the theme very well. The RDFG was weird to get used to. One thing I felt that could have been indicated is what a "bad line" is? From reading the feedback I assume it's a full line. Perhaps an indicator could have been a number of full lines accompanied by a skull block percentage of spawning... all in all a very catchy game!

Thank you for playing! All lines are bad lines; in testing, it felt wrong for the game not to have clearable lines as with the game that inspired it, but because of the nature of BULS, they are not good to achieve - they make the game faster earlier, where your sole objective is to gain height. I tried to make that clear on-screen by adding the "(are bad)" 😅

Sure is a fun take on tetris! It's a bit confusing having to deal with two separate sets of movement at the same time, combined with the very irregular RDFG when I wpould have expected WASD it was a bit disorienting. The sound is also a bit too loud I woud say, with the death-splort quite alarming. All in all a fun bite-sized challenge, especially for tetris fans!

Thank you! Yeah it's a bit of a thing xD RDFG was chosen just incase anyone is using an AZERTY or QWERTZ keyboard; you can use the bump on the F key to find the centre of the controls 😄

All the hallmarks of an 'Alison James classic' right here! You've blown it out of the water from the great tune, silly concept and really unique mechanic. I think controlling the pea-apple dude and moving the "I-can't-believe-it's-not-tetris" blocks around at the same time certainly woke up the hamster spinning the wheel in my head as it was a bit to get my head around, especially when I needed to rotate the pieces too, but that's all part of the challenge! A great entry, and I wouldn't expect anything less! 😊

Thank you very much 😄 My hamster never woke up in testing, I had to do each thing one at a time lmao

while confusing at first, this is a pretty cool take on tetris, ive never seen something like this before. although the movement keys for the blocks (RDFG) are kinda throwing me off, why not use WASD? overall a good entry though

Thank you for the feedback! I used RDFG rather than WASD incase anyone playing was on QWERTZ or AZERTY-layout keyboards, I didn't have time to add a key remapper.
F is used as a central key to the game because, on most keyboards, it has a little bump you can find with your finger to "centre" yourself.

The pace seemed downright leisurely compared to most of your offerings but it's a solid game nonetheless. I suppose it couldn't be a whole lot faster though or there wouldn't be enough time to do all the things. Didn't notice, didn't get real far, does it speed up as you get higher? Also wasn't sure if there was a penalty to filling rows other than losing height.

Yeah, the game has internal levels that increase every 10 blocks you place. After 3 "levels", you also start getting the skull blocks randomly.
That also serves as the penalty for completing lines - the more blocks you use without gaining height, the sooner the game gains speed 😄

I really like the clever spin on tetris. The goal is completely flipped around, and it's a lot of fun to try and figure out how to line up the blocks so that you can climb them without killing you character. The only issue that I encountered while playing the game was that sometimes jumping up two blocks didn't always work properly (it did always work if I held in the up arrow, if that is intended then never mind). Aside for that, the art was nice and fit well with the retro tetris feel. All around, a great entry!

Yeah, the jumping has light variable height applied. In retrospect, fairly pointless in this game given all the jumps are exactly 1 or 2 units, but hey ho xD
Thank you very much!
