Simple but fun. I underrated it based on the capsule image. It's a simple mechanic but it really entices the curiosity. I think a player character that more fit the idea of digging around for things would've made the game more enticing as well.

W-wow... that was surprisingly really good! Though it was a really simple idea, how you did it was really impressive! The visuals are pretty beautiful too! Digging down and finding stuff kinda reminds me of Minecraft mining, which is a really good thing because I really like mining and finding stuff in that game!

I didn't expect much, and it's pretty simple, but this is a really pleasant game overall. The presentation really helps make the game fun to play with.
Having a good score seems pretty dependant on getting time bonuses, but I did manage to get 550 😎 (finding out how many items were deeper down helped a lot too).

I really like the shaders and the effects you put in to this one and the art is brilliant - the exploration aspect is unique as well and the controls are smooth, my only concern is that the explosion you'd used here did look familiar to me as it's from itch.io, perhaps you need to credit them in this? Other than that, great entry :)

The visuals in this game are quite nice! I don't think I understood how to best use all of the powerups though ahaha

Of course the game is a bit rough around the edges but the digging did feel good! Nice job on that.

I like what has been done with minimal measures here. The character is nice, somehow especially because of the sfx that you hear when you pick something up.

Picking stuff up was sometimes confusing as it would sometimes suddenly not work but then when pressing spacebar it did, might've been a bug or me not understanding stuff completely ;)

Anyway, nice work on your game :)

I'm amazed what talented people can do with GameMaker even if it's their first time working in it (per one of your replies). There were some quirks with finding/using the power-ups to be sure, but it was still a fun game.

I really love the green slime smears on the sides of the tunnel you build, that's a really cool visual effect. Nice little game, the only control issue I had was that picking up time pieces seemed inconsistent sometimes, like you had to press spacebar near a clock sometimes to pick it up, and other times you don't.

It seemed like this was perhaps rushed to a finish, which is a shame, because the stuff that is here, and is developed, is beautifully done. Game controls are fluid, the core experience is pertinent to the theme and fun to play, and the aesthetic is gorgeous - love the lighting effects, and the music ties everything together.

A menu, some extra SFX and maybe a highscore table would do wonders for this, I think it's worth capping off outside of jam time 😄 Nice work!

Actually this game was a chance to introduce Game Maker to the dev team at my work! So I sort of glued piece of it together, but chunks of the code were written by people who were brand new to Game Maker. All said, we had a good time and hopefully will be back for future jams.

Enjoyable little arcade game. Looks pretty cool and I really like the sound. Bombs were by far the worst upgrade.

Not bad, I had fun! I really liked the cool ground digging effects and the lighting you did. The ambient sounds and music weren't annoying, and the sprites were simple but effective. I wish there was more to the mechanics, like instead of just randomly running into things it would be nice if I felt more of a sense of "discovery" if you know what I mean. Maybe if there were open air pockets, or dungeon areas? Could be a really fun procedurally generated game!

I would take a bullet for Cloudia.

The digging feels very fun and the idea overall is super cute.
