WASD to move, lose leaves as you walk, don't get your leaf count to zero or you'll be blown away!

Nice concept and interesting mechanics. I do like how the first few levels or so ease you into the different mechanics. After doing the level where you have to use the back and forth movement to maintain your leaves I wasn't quite sure how you could lose since you could just do that every level and maintain the leaves. Then you introduce the doors that require you to be a certain size and it became clear that maintaining your leaves wasn't the best of ideas. One level took me a while since I was too big to fit through the door and I had to find a way to dispose of all my leaves to fit through. It's all actually quite clever and could provide for some nice puzzles further down the line.

My main suggestion would just be that it would be nice to know what the exact requirements are to fit through those doors. Obviously you can tell which require you to be big and which require you to be small but you can't tell how big or small you need to be. It would be nice to have some indication of that.

Obviously things like graphics could be improved and adding sounds too but it's understandable given the time constraints. Great work though and would be nice to see more.

Really neat concept, and great use of the theme. Kidna of buggy though, I was able to clip into walls with a diagonal movement and break a few puzzles.

AH! I thought I had solved this problem, and was unable to replicate it during dev, but alas I was slightly aware of it. A shame :c, I'm glad you like the concept though!! thanks for the feedback

This is a really clever interpretation of the theme and a brilliant idea for a puzzle - I think what you've made here is exactly what a puzzle should be, from introducing each new mechanic to the level design, you've really got the elements and formula of a puzzle game spot on! Brilliantly done! I would have loved to have seen some sound and more levels but obviously I get time is a factor. But you've got some fantastic foundations (unlike my leafy self in those last levels, racing to the finish with 1 leaf to my name 😂) and I really hope you continue to make this game, and pile of leaves, grow!

Thank you so much for the kind words and feedback!! Yeah, I def hope to improve upon this idea for a small fun little polished game!

After the first few levels I was confused about the game's direction because the mechanics mean you aren't actually restricted by distance at all, but then it introduced a bunch of really interesting ways to flesh out the concept that surprised me. My only criticism would be that the levels are probably a bit too big and also the player's size vs. the gates was a bit difficult to read. Overall, good progression and cool mechanics. Well done :)

I certainly struggled a bit with getting the info across for the gates, its what I get for not really play testing enough, but I'm glad you liked it overall, thank you for the feedback on this, super hype for the next jam with all this positivity and I might want to polish this concept up a bit in my free time.

Impressive! I would have liked a way to restart the specific room only, and some room transitions would be nice. Otherwise though, very nice puzzle game!

This is a pretty smart puzzle game, the little back and front repeat to move was a bit repetative, but with some general polish I think this could be a nice flash-esk web game.

This is a really nice twist on sokoban-ish grid-based games! I can see some really devious puzzles being made with this mechanic. Nitpick: these puzzles are larger than they need to be, meaning the back-and-forth leaf-conservation shimmy is a little too frequent. For this style of puzzle game, it's a good idea to "use the smallest amount of space and puzzle pieces for the puzzle to work."https://www.gamasutra.com/blogs/TomHermans/20180829/325469/How_to_make_a_good_puzzle__An_explorable_explanation.php

Bless! I struggled with being able to come up with some puzzles in this, and I was pretty confident 90% of the time you could avoid the leaf shuffle except for where I wanted it to be used, but I do think I could have even then cut down on its use to be more mechanical and less uhm, tedious? Bless for this writeup though I'll def be taking a look and thanks for giving it a play!

Hey Laxxia me and the kid played your game.

I really like the idea of the leaves and moving around in like mazes etc. I used to draw a lot of mazes as a kid. I liked the character idea.

My son was also able to get past the first two section as well as me. Wasn't sure if it was supposed to run out there or not but I thought I would let you know incase we did something wrong.

I just asked him and he said it was good.

The walls were a bit bland but I can understand with the time frame and everything.

Glad to hear!! Yeah I ended up coming up short for the art and sound departments which left me a bit sad. The third level does look eerily like the first if that's what you mean, just meant to teach a different mechanic if the player hasn't already sussed something out.

It's a really interesting mechanic, dropping leaves as you walk around. I think you used it to good effect to create some interesting spatial reasoning puzzles! Wish there was some music or more varied art, but it's a well done jam game overall!

It may not be the prettiest, but it has a really cool game play mechanic! Great work Laxxia, I enjoyed this more than I thought I would :)
