Wait For It is a timing puzzle game with 20 stages to complete. Learn the pattern of the movement and take your best shot! Try to complete all the stages!
This is my first time using the HTLM Exporter, and for some reason the relative volume of my sound effects with the background music is coming out a little louder than intended, but otherwise everything else seems to be working from what I can tell. If you prefer you can download the executable instead.
Thanks for checking it out and hope you have fun playing Wait For It!
I have thoroughly tested that each stage is definitely possible, although some are exact margins of accuracy. If you're having trouble on any stage just hit me up on here or twitter and i'll post the solutions if needed.

Nice little game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the games from the GM48, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/kfb6IM-P_cA

I just had to look at the icon to know it was made by the 30 jumps dev, I like that you actually added fireworks like you said you would hahaha.
You really made an interesting game, I usually hate games based around waiting, it's one of the most annoying things for a player, but the presence of the timer on top meant that you could make small adjustments to your time and get that perfect shot, it kept me on my toes and allowed me to enjoy the game without getting too bored.
Simple art and sound, nothing too good, nothing too bad, and interesting levels. Overall a solid entry.
Oh and btw, look at this awesome trickshot I got thanks to the awesome collisions.

Thanks! I like where I got with this one a lot more than 30 Jumps! It definitely helps that I had the whole weekend this time. I tried to keep the waiting potentially under 10 seconds for each level, so that there wouldn't have to be too long of a wait each play. Glad you enjoyed it and love the trick shot!

Solid entry. I would really have enjoyed it more is everything was a little faster.

Thanks for the feedback, I was thinking I would actually make that variable too maybe for different difficulty options, like slow, medium, fast, ultra-fast!

Great gameplay! the first game that i played all the way through. Good sounds, i liked the firework celebrations at the end of each level. I only wish for clicking anywhere on the screen serving as both the fire and reset keys (or the space bar). You could add a bunch more levels and turn it into a mobile game!

Awesome, thanks for playing! I'm definitely going to add some more controls for restart and fire next.

Very good game. I have made through all 20 levels and i want more. There is some bug in game, but to fix them you have to write your own phisics, so i don't count it as a mistake. I like what you did. Also i recomend to make mobile version. It's a cool game to play at school or at work

Thanks for playing, glad you had fun! I've gone back in forth with projects using the built in physics, or trying to do my own, I definitely think using the built in is the way to go with jams, I always seem to run into different issues with collision behavior when I try to do my own.

I really started to like the game the more and more I played. The thing I enjoyed most was when my ball was knocked around it dislodged one of the stage elements and instead of the level just ending that piece ended up hitting my ball into the goal! I had fun playing and my only bit of advice would be to add a shortcut key to restart the level so you don't have to click the button every time.
I would totally play a newer version with more levels and updated graphics. Nice work!

Thanks, I will probably add "R" to restart and space bar to fire as keyboard controls next. I'd like to add some more elements like fans and trampoline type bouncy surfaces too. Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing!

Nicely done. Played it until I beat all the levels, even if I got stuck on a level for a while. The sign of a good game. Some levels seemed harder than other levels that came after them, but that's as much of a criticism as I can come up with. Good job. An expanded version could do well for marketing.

Yeah, I think I made some harder ones before introducing some of the other different moving pieces, so it could use some re-arranging. I didn't really have a system for difficulty, just went with how they felt to me. I'm actually thinking of a way to bit bigger in scope in the future with some better graphics and themed levels. Thanks for playing!

Nooooo, I closed the window and lost all my progress. Was on stage 15.
Dude this game is fun. You should implement a save feature and make a quick restart button then port this to mobile and I will buy it for 99 cents.

Definitely will include a saving/loading system next, I usually use .ini's for my mobile and desktop games, but I haven't done it yet with HTML5 so I'm not sure if there is a different method to follow? Thanks for playing, glad you had fun!

Nice and addictive timing game. It's great to have the feeling when getting the ball to the finish after few tries.
Music is so joyful and now it's looping in my head! :D

A solid puzzle game, it is very satisfying when you get that perfect timing right. I played quite a few levels before giving up.
The graphics aren't the prettiest but very functional. It's clear what's going on and there is a quick reset button which is a big plus in puzzle games like this. The sound also does its job well with sound effects for every event.
This would make a good mobile game but maybe the ball could move a little faster? Or just something to give the possibility of success even when you collide with something, as the odd fluke can be fun.

Before I knew it, I had played like 5 levels of this game. I started quickly and I kept going, even after failing dozens of times. Unlockable levels are a great idea! The physics worked well too. I didn't know what was going to happen when my ball got smashed against the wall, and it was satisfying when it went flying out, like when you squeeze a slick pumpkin seed between your fingers!

Thanks, my favorite feedback is people telling me they lose track of time playing my games! Glad you had fun with it, some of the stage elements can actually get pushed around a bit too if the ball gets jammed just right. Thanks for playing!

Nice idea, it has a windows95/vaporwave vibe to it @_@ (maybe it's just me). Did you use the GMS physics system for the ball bounciness?
Unfortunately for me, I didn't get past the 6th stage :/SubmittedCangaço StandOff
