Wow that was some amazing art! Loved it! The gameplay was nice and polished too, as well as the sound. This is probably my favorite game this time around. Awesome work!

I really enjoyed this game. The ability to choose which spells to take into battle was a good idea. It was pretty challenging, but it felt fair once I figured out the dash mechanic. The art and music were also really good.
I would maybe suggest having a way to change your spells without having to close the game, and making the cutscene at the start skipable. All in all though, a terrific entry. Keep up the good work!

What can I even say about this game? This was hella fun, combining spells together for different playstyles (fire and thunder are absolutely busted), and the dash boy did I love this mechanic. The art is wonderful too.

Wow really nice! It was a cool idea to have to choose between spells before going into battle. I enjoyed the battle a lot too. Probably my fav experience in this game jam yet.
It was pretty hard, though, but it felt like a good challenge. Awesome work!

Great game with nice graphics, but for me too challenging without success, could not beat the enemy. :) I've tried some combination of spells but still need to imprve my skills. :)

Fun story and gameplay! As others have mentioned, customization was a great aspect of this game. I don't know how anyone could test this just once. We need to try all of the spells! So a button to bring us back to the spellbook to select a new spell combo would have rounded this game out as near perfect for me. The art was great too - thanks for making this!

I really liked this - the art is super cute, the gameplay seems solid (if tricky!), and the idea of choosing your arsenal and getting to try future attempts with different spells is neat, customisation is pretty rare for a 48 hour game. Nice work!

Cool game, unfortunately I wasn't able to beat the boss, but the spells are well designed and fun to use! I especially liked the "Astral Projection" spell, though I was pretty bad at using it lol

Cute art, a good variety of spells and a healthy challenge make for a great run and gun experience. From top to tail, this game is full of smart decisions. I never found my spells being underpowered and I never found the boss overwhelming. It's tough, but very engaging and balanced. Down time is minimal, so I never felt like rage-quitting and the visuals are just really charming, love the character design in this.
Only things I would change are some in-game direction for how to use my spells, and making the reset key a hold down to commit thing, I reset the fight by accident twice.
Overall, a delightful entry!

I enjoyed the cup-head energy you brought with this one, lots of fun and the variety of spells is impressive - I did not defeat the boss... yet, but that's part of the fun with the spell variety, I'm going to have to go in and try again, which is impressive, your game makes me want to come back for more even when I lose, I'm impressed - great job!

Great entry, original and immersive. I liked the art, music and story as well.
I would add option to change spells between duels without need to restart the entire game.
My personal choice was flamethrower, missile and deflector (thunderbolt had low chance of success and the other ones did not help much either). I was able to take about 75 percent of demon´s HP.
I really enjoyed this game. Thanks for submission.

Really fond of the art, looked super cute!
Had a lot of fun just mixing and matching sets of spells. Particularly liked landing that thunder bolt, super satisfying.
My only feedback would be to tone down the difficulty just a smidge for a jam game and maybe have a platform or two in the boss arena to spice it up a little.
Overall good stuff!
Quick edit: The stylized description is a super fun touch.
