Really neat game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the games from the GM48, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/RxB8WIjpWF0
Love it. I had one minor issue when I managed to somehow get in an infinite loop of bouncing shots. Also some of the bounces seemed really off, but most of the time they were fine.
Anyway, great theme and really liked the graphics and sound. The story was funny. Hope to see more of Eagle Eye Emma in the future.Submitted
Interesting concept and clever use of the theme. It takes a bit of trial and error but it's always pretty fun seeing all the chaos the ricochets cause.
The presentation here is spot on. I enjoy how each of the stages is a different locale with its own scenery. The guitar strum, the tumbleweed and the narrowing view also really help to set the scene.
My best score was 1919.
Nice use of the theme. Some music would have helped the game. The third level was the most difficult, then I realized that I had to shoot downward.Submitted
Really fun little game guys. 2391 was our best try. If you want to see our reactions, and our ratings for your game check out our video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76qbNuwC0EE (Your game should be around 55:00)Submitted
edit: screw my previous score of 1658, here is the ultimate high score!3274 :D Buhahaha
(I probably could do better on the first level, but loved how I did something like 934 in the second one, didn't expect it to be possible)
doesn't beat Simon, but still
It was fun! I like the humour and running gag (including its bad side)
Really good game and story, the "slept on her bad side" at the end one shotted me.
At one point I got softlocked but other than that the game went along quite smoothly and it was really enjoyable, the levels were all really cool, and music + art were done quite well. Overall a really fun entry :D
Edit: this feedback finally made me realize how much I use the word really :(
Really nice and fun ! Sometimes I was like : "Mmh I should shoot here, I am sure it will be a nice shot. Oh wait, I killed myself." And sometimes i shot randomly and it kills everybody exept me.
I really liked it. Easy gameplay, nice arts, nice sounds. Good job !Submitted
This was really fun! The gameplay was really solid and I was wanting to play more levels! I found the art style really nice too.
The sound effects were a real charmer - I loved how you had them all done with your voices (the train was too great). And I always have to appreciate some guitar!Submitted
That last level is tricky. Like the art design and the sprite for Mr. Unfaithful (shirt off lol!).
The piano track and highlight sounds going in and coming out of a level were spot on. My only wish was for a nice gunshot sound when characters fire. (And of course, more levels!)
I got 1384 points.
I had this annoying bug which caused the game to lock in its current state. That annoying sound it kept on making was... obnoxious. Anyway, on my second attempt I managed to beat the game.Submitted
Just try and error gameplay not really nice art
I quite enjoyed this one. The bouncing bullet mechanic means every shot turns out a little different.
Cute, well-made graphics and great sound effects, especially the train, chugga-chugga. nice touches like the light falling down in the saloon too.
Would have loved to have more levels to play.
I did find that some bullets would get stuck in an endless loop, so it might be worth coding in a maximum number of bounces to prevent this.Submitted
Nice job! This game made me laugh. Very nice take on the theme. Would've loved to see more levels, but I understand 48 hours and all. :) Well done!Submitted
