A physics platformer where you use bounce platforms, ramps, and planks to build around 4 levels to reach the end.

Concept was good but the game was really unstable. I got stuck on corners everytime I tried to pass the WWW section. The platforms spawning with their origin to the top left felt intuitive and maybe should've been in the center. The movement felt really bad. LIke you were slow and then suddenly super sonic. The bounce pads sometimes didn't work and sometimes launched you acrossed the world. Overall not the best but I loved the game this could be.

I thought the cocenpt was really cool but it was pretty challening for me. I couldn't make it past the second stange. Some of the physics strange to me. But overall a fun and creative game!

I really could not make it far in this game, but it was hilarious to play 🤣 The controls for placing items definitely could have been better, since all the items are controlled by the mouse I think it would have made sense to have 3 separate keys and then the left mouse to place the currently chosen item.

Interesting idea, but I had a couple issues trying to play this game. Couldn't really get past the second stage once the time limit/chase was introduced, as it really didn't gel well with the finnicky and kinda floaty controls. It didn't really help either that sometimes the objects I was placing wouldn't spawn, like holding E, setting the direction of the jumping pad, and releasing E, only for the pad to not be placed.

The physics in this game are very impressive. I think that certain areas would have benefited from a bit more polish, but it's completely understandable for a gm48. I personally think that maybe a bit more control over the players movement in the air would have made the bouncing a bit more fun and controllable. That aside, a very solid entry.

I really like the concept of this one and there's a lot to play around with here - I think the idea of using the mouse to place one thing and keyboard to place other things was an odd choice for a control scheme, maybe that needs fleshing out a little if you choose to update this post-jam, but that aside, it's a neat idea but with a lot to take in so it took me a little while to get to grips with it but when I did, I found it fun - good job :)

I played your game on stream https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1803296797?t=02h01m40s
not a bad first attempt, the gameplay needs more work, but it was fun watching game maker's physics break.

interesting concept, i like the idea of making your own platforms, though i will say sometimes it felt like my inputs weren't being taken, like sometimes i try to move to the right/left and it just doesnt happen. not a bad entry though

Thank you for playing! There was a glitch I couldn't manage to patch where the physics engine would let you stay on top of an object even off of its edge, which meant that the condition for being on the ground would be false and not let you jump.

It took me a second to realise this was physics-based! That's really neat, and a brave choice for a 48 hour game jam 😆 Really unique to play though, expectable Box2D physics glitches and weirdnesses aside it was a pretty fun lil entry.

I couldn't tell if my framerate was terrible or if it was just really unresponsive controls. But whatever the case it felt (and kind of looked) like one of those dreams where you try to move and do things but everything's difficult and slippery and teetering above a void of doom and meanwhile you're probably thrashing around in bed tangled up in the sheets.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by unresponsive? On my machine everything works fine aside from one bug where if you stand off of the edge the physics engine still considers it a collision but the game doesn't think you're on the ground for the purpose of controls and therefore you get stuck. Was the framerate terrible? You seem not sure whether or - did the player character snap around to places and move in a very laggy way? The player character is effectively a physics object with a fixed rotation so the controls will inevitably feel different than a typical platformer, but I could still A and D to move left and right and W to move up on my end. I would say the major problem with that is that the ramp was too high a slope so it would be pretty slow to climb. EDIT: from talking to a friend, it seems to be that essentially zero air accel and low ground accel made for poor feeling controls. If you agree with that please let me know! Thank you for playing!

Looks like the platform limit doesn't work :-) EDIT: Nevermind, didn't realize it recharges
