Summary
UniDrive is a fun and engaging arcade racing game with intuitive controls and satisfying physics. Players appreciated the game feel, sound effects, and creative incorporation of the theme with a single-button acceleration mechanic. Some noted minor issues with physics near walls and the lack of music or a proper start/end screen, but these did not significantly detract from the overall enjoyment. The procedural generation and game juice were praised, making it a memorable entry in the jam.

Lv. 41Not too challenging, but I appreciated the juice and game feel added to this entry. I don't know if I'd really call it "one button driving" on account of the mouse position mattering and the fact that I basically always had the mouse button held down, but I still think it's a fun entry!

Lv. 3Really cool to see an incorporation of a z-axis (the overhead bridge) - found it a little too easy but it was fun to just destroy stuff

Lv. 17Smooth control and a satisfying boost made this very fun to play. The only issue with the latter is that the sudden lurch of your car can make it overtake your mouse cursor, causing you to take a sudden sharp turn. Had to try going backwards and found that wasn't expected by the procedural generation :) I loved leading the red cars into crashes - that reminded me of Hot Pursuit 2, one of my favorite games when I was younger. Great entry!

PatronWas this randomly generated or just a really long course? I must have had a 5-ish minute run and it didn't feel like I finished a lap once, the geometry and background just kept changing. If that's true, I love this idea a lot - a highscore-chasing driving game is a really nifty idea with a ton of room for expansion down the line. It's a shame this didn't have music and a proper start/end screen just to tie it all together, but this was a super fun entry!

Lv. 5The whole course is procedural :) I'm always drawn to making games like that! I have a bunch of ideas to expand the game, and think it has some potential. The music is something I really wanted to add but it would have taken me way too long to admit if I tried. Thanks for playing and the comment!

Lv. 8This is a fun arcade racer. The controls are very fluid and the ai are well done. The physics with the walls were a bit janky which unfortunately caused me to only use boost when absolutely necessary due to how hard it is to control without hitting the walls and getting stuck for a while. But it didn't impact my run much, and I had a lot of fun. Good job!

Lv. 5Thanks for the comment! The wall collisions are something I with I could have spent more time on

Lv. 2I found it very fun, the car handles very well and the controls are intuitive (accelerate and brake). The graphic effects are also very successful. Good job!

Lv. 2I actually liked the physics and sfx are satisfyin especially when crashing other vehicles, only miss some engine sound to match the acceleration, but I understand a non-stop sound may not be the best idea so you may have leave it like that on purpose.
The theme is there with a single button to accelerate.

Lv. 5I played with the idea of adding an engine sound, but like you say it was annoying playing constantly. Thinking about it, a good implementation may be to play just when accelerating.
Thanks for the comment!
