The grid has broken, but your faithful brick will seek to repair it.
Leave a trail of bricks behind you to fill up the holes in the grid, but beware, you cannot move over bricks laid down, so plot your course wisely. All of the controls are in the game.
I was really busy this weekend, so this is much smaller than I would have liked with both the music and ending being missing (You're done once you beat the third level. You just have to force close it as there is no way to properly close the game.), and the level design is pretty simple. Hopefully you can still enjoy this without and can at least see what I was trying to do with it.

Not much game here, but the idea could be interesting. A way to make it more interesting visually could be having it be an infinitely long snake that crawl through the level. Various turn-based, moving hazards that you must consider, even rhythm could play a role. Also thematically it fits super well.

Thank you for playing, and for the feedback. Visually, I wanted to go with an arcade feel, so I went with blocks instead of a snake. Those are a lot of good suggestions for gameplay though. My original plan included certain levels where you have multiple playable characters and enemies that must be blocked off before they reach the exit, but the hazards are a good idea.

Confused when it broke after the third screen until I read the description 😅 I'd love to see more of this, it was cool that the levels were interconnected with each other, or at least felt that way.

Thank you for playing, and for the kind feedback. My original plan was for the game to feature a bunch more levels that form a large rectangle, and then at the end for it to zoom out and they'd all break (or something like that), but that definitely ending up being overscoped.

Aw shoot, I really like your concept but shame you couldn't go as far as you'd like to. I would love to see more of this though.

I really liked the concept and the idea you had here, you had the potential to make a really interesting puzzle game and I was esxcited when I saw the concept in practice, it's such a shame there are only 3 very short levels, I would have loved to have seen more levels with this concept. I hope you take this forward post-jam and make some levels for it as it feels like the whole idea is here but with none of the actual content. Great start and great foundations for a game here

This might be the shortest GM48 game I've seen :D It's a shame you didn't have the time to make more of it, seeing that first level transition was so cool. Made me imagine a bigger world and lots of possibilies.

Hello fellow puzzle game maker. I enjoyed this one as a short little experience, but it was definitely a short experience. The ending felt rather abrupt and buggy, but I realize you probably ran out of time. Still, a fun entry and I enjoy that it didn't overstay its welcome.

I liked the transition between levels. Super short though and no way to exit out that I could find. Had to alt tab out and close the window.

Very cool idea with a fun, but simplistic art style. The game broke at the end of level 3 for me, so I'm not sure if there was more to it or not. After I completed level 3, I couldn't move, restart, or anything. I had to force close the game.
