Two Tickets to the Gun Show

Really interesting take on the theme, enjoyed playing it!

As others said the gameplay is just a tad lacking as I wanted to shoot something other than the side missles and tanks, need something to work towards, some bar to charge up to release my inner guapo. Could be one of those upgrade games where you get more weapons like wink or flex to nuke everything on screen. Nice particles and vector art 👌

This was certainly something. I got a good few laughs out of the game's visual style and the accompanying soundtrack, and overall, it's just one of those simple, fun games — reminding me a bit of classic Flash games, actually. My biggest complaint is to do with the controls — you can't move your guy all the way to the top of the screen, so missiles at the top of the screen can be a real pain to deal with. Still, I think I'll take two more tickets to the gun show, please!

Loved the art, especially the bright particles. I got a little bored after a few minutes, but overall an amazing experience. Will be buying tickets again.

That was certainly an experience, a very good one at that! Only wish you could go up just slightly higher the top of the screen, but otherwise, it was great!

When I was making my own game, around 24 hours in, I decided to check the games page just out of curiosity and I saw this game and I was like "Wow, some people already finished their game? I gotta check this one out later." So now I did, and honestly for someone who apparently worked all alone this is really impressive, even if it's a pretty simple game. Love how you twisted the meaning of "Side effect" for this game lol

What's here is polished and...interesting...as usual, but from what I could see there's not a whole lot here. But it checks the meme as a game as a meme box nicely. Also, it maintains the reputation of having most polished music of the game jam. And, I accept your redefinition of the theme wholeheartedly.

The art was inspiring! The boxer briefs and matching lipstick were to die for 😘

Definitely one of the more "exciting" games on here for sure :). I feel like I need a superpower or something to work towards that lets me shoot even more out of my finely toned armpits :D

I laughed, I cried, best show ever.

The theme use was very literal and hilarious. The art was cute and interesting. The song! I'm surprised you were able to get that done in 48 hrs. The gameplay was a little slow, easy, and repetitive. I got bored after a couple minutes- I think if you had different stages with different enemies/guns it would help a lot. Overall a good submission!
