Spawn Space Game
Less of a game and more just a demo / test of a a single game play mechanic. First time using Game Maker to actually make something so didn't want to take on too much. Also only had a limited amount of time to work on it. Hope to have the full weekend at the next gm48. Use AWSD to move the player and click and hold to left mouse button to create circles of Space. Enemy objects will be drawn to the Space and get destroyed. The aim is to destroy all the enemy objects with the limited amount of Space available.

Path of Dismay
Exploration of space drove humanity to colonize other planets and for centuries humanity thrived. Then was the first contact, 400 years ago... Peace lasted for 27 years until it was found out that the aliens had found ample supply of material called Calcae-10 that was needed to create effective fusion generators. For the aliens it was a sacred mineral while humanity had run out of their own supply. This caused the humanity to wage war for the rare commodity. While the initial assault was successful the ensuing war has now continued till this day. Now, humanity is losing the long war. On the last planet, as a last resort, humanity has started a project to go beyond known space to escape the wrath of the aliens. Humanity will endure!

The Dome Ship
Use your flying dome ship to push creatures into environments that will kill them off before your ship is destroyed. Stand next to joystick to fly wasd (use arrows to move your player), middle panel repairs dome for energy, right panel bursts heat to damage enemies (both using space bar)... I ran out of time so this is a partial build.
