Die Trying
From the beginning of mankind itself, retro games had been famous for their cheap deaths, used to extend their play times. But what if instead of regretting a death? How about we use it? In this puzzle platformer You play as a ghost cube, and whenever he dies, he leaves behind his previous lives up to three times. Use this to solve puzzles and make platforming easier. You can also wavedash in this game. Cause wavedashing is cool.

Cat Burglar
Kill everything! Pretty much it, but do it as fast as you can. Change your form to move faster and get to other places. I only knew that this was going on a few hours before the end so quickly put this together thus just a test level and primitive AI. I am going to make a final version of this after and trial it tomorrow in my Computer Science class to get some feedback. Cheese Ray
Comets are falling from the sky! Cheese Ray must use his Cheese Ray to defend the planet. Arrows to move, Z to Shoot, X to Jump, C to clear out the cheese, the more cheese on the field, the bigger the combo multiplier! Survive as long as you can and get a high score! Known glitches: Standing on a block as it lands will get you stuck, press R to restart! If you're touching the bottom of a block and a comet touches you, you'll die, oops!

Fight off the bandits that have taken over the town. Use your hellgun to deal extra damage -- but be warned: you miss, you die.
Spacesoul
Space Soul is game where you fly around an increasingly dangerous universe shooting pirates and asteroids for rewards. Beware going on too far, you might not have enough fuel to get back, or the game might crash.
Down to the wire
Changed gameplay last minute. Idea is the more enemies on screen act as a multipler and you have to hold out for as long as possible. Hard to do with broken collision, enemy spawning not working etc etc.

Two Souls

This is fast-pased and you need a hell of a lot of relfexes to do this. This is a platformer and heavily time-based as you try to complete every jump in a random but recognisable pattern. Here are the source files for my unfinished jam-entry project "Conduit". I spent too much time trying to build a remake of my dungeon generator "dungen" to even a decent point, so I've decided to quit. The attached .EXE demo shows the basic generation of a level. (with bugged cameras)

Hats in space. Hats auto-target and auto-fire. Redhats are the bad hats, and you, the white cap and the the wanderer, the brown hat are good hats. Spawn Space Game
Less of a game and more just a demo / test of a a single game play mechanic. First time using Game Maker to actually make something so didn't want to take on too much. Also only had a limited amount of time to work on it. Hope to have the full weekend at the next gm48. Use AWSD to move the player and click and hold to left mouse button to create circles of Space. Enemy objects will be drawn to the Space and get destroyed. The aim is to destroy all the enemy objects with the limited amount of Space available.

The Dome Ship
Use your flying dome ship to push creatures into environments that will kill them off before your ship is destroyed. Stand next to joystick to fly wasd (use arrows to move your player), middle panel repairs dome for energy, right panel bursts heat to damage enemies (both using space bar)... I ran out of time so this is a partial build.

Enter, Light
Enter Light, is game about the journey of a little ball of light traveling through the harsh terrain of it's environment to find it's friends. The main character of the game is Orbs, a small ball of light which can only travel through lit terrain. Whenever Orbs enter the darkness, the essense of it's light is drained and can erase Orbs from existance. Since Orbs is a small ball of light, it can only move a set distance and jump a certain height. In addition, Orbs can interact with other objects to clear the darkness from the current area, In turn, this will allow the little ball of light to traverse through the section of the level. The end goal of the game is to have the player experience empathy for the ball of light as it embarks on this journey.
